I'm cool with the proposed team by Muffle.

As we send teams out eventually a mission will fail and we can work from there, right? Or are you hoping to try and weed out the first team, perhaps if you're certain someone in there is scum you want to send the same team out until scum has to make the decision to fail the mission, that would mean you're definitely sure someone is scum which could mean...

@Gourd: I don't think there's much possible to infer. Except possibly that no one was close to naming the scumteam on d1, so scum went after someone with setup knowledge rather than good reads.
@Muffle: There's no hidden info about the quests, everything's described in the first post. It's worth looking at again. My argument is that we should avoid sending scummy people because if they are scum, it puts the ball in their court.
@LockeZ: I think narrowing down a Mordred is the main use. If the quest does fail then we'll have a high chance to get a kill on scum, yeah, but that was scum that wanted to be found so ???. With whatever you're planning, I guess I can think of some other angles where quests could be used but I have no idea if we're actually thinking the same thing.

@ozzy ah. I was putting all my thoughts in a post on order to be helpful, know there was huge discussion about Merlin earlier. Didn't even stop to think, I was just putting everything in my thoughts out to be as helpful as I could considering I wasn't helpful d1 till the end when I was told it'd be best to talk even if I was hesitant for any reason. I shouldn't have mentioned anything about that now that I look back... I need to learn what I should say and what I should keep to myself x.x

Missions will only fail if a scum is in it as far as I'm aware, and while it'll narrow down the list of who could be Merlin it also puts scum into the position of town knowing one of the three is scum. I think we're misunderstanding each other haha.
It took me until LockeZ post that not wanting to narrow the list down for scum by allowing chance of mission failure is also another thing Psy is thinking of.

I'm leaning toward lockez strategy for a day just to see what comes of it, and then switching to psy's day 3 since we will have a lower player count.
Not going to put my vote on a team just yet, because I don't want a team to get approved, and then later on we decide to lynch one of the members on that team. I'm pretty sure when a team has so much approval, you can't un-approve that team. I'm probably going with ozzy, yellow, odd though. I can speculate on the plan too, but no point in posting it here for scum to see.
I'm still figuring out my leads. I also want to see more from cap, ym, and odd before I decide anything. I won't really hold it against odd since he seemed to be busy with grad stuff (grats btw odd).

I'm not sure how I feel about muffle yet so I'll just hold off till she says more tomorrow. We still have plenty of time in this day phase so don't want to throw down a lynch just yet.

Some random reads:
Pianotm, Psy_wombats: I still think these are my strongest town reads. Psy especially; he is the most helpful and proactive person in this game. Pianotm was the first person to make a list of reads on day 1, and pointed out some other stuff that I mentioned last time I said I thought he was town.
Gourd_clae: He seems to have been unsuspicious so far. Obviously that's not a strong read. Everything he's said so far has seemed reasonable, and some of it even turned out to be true. If PlatinumAshes is scum then I'll be more suspicious of Gourd, because he was the main one arguing that the fake Merlin claim was a reasonable town thing to do.
PlatinumAshes: I still think he's pretty scummy because of the Merlin fake-claim stuff. He's said very little else, so that's basically the entirety of what my read of him is based on right now.
OzzyTheOne: I assume he's town until I have a reason to think otherwise.
Yellow Magic: Asking people to avoid "excessive metagaming" and trying to make them ashamed of it bothers the hell out of me. Comparing how someone acts to how they "should" act is a huge part of of the game! Asking people to deliberately not use information they have, and to try to make less-informed decisions, seems like a blatant scum tactic to me.
I don't have much to say about anyone else right now.

Sooooooo I read through this, I have classes in like 15 minutes so I won't be able to be fully detailed, but I will post more after (so like 2 hours after that).
First of all, it makes total sense that LockeZ style of reading puts him in a loop, ahaha. Sorry about that. I am a bit messy myself and trying to get my mind into the most effective approach for myself. So I'd be happy to go along your team suggestion, I am very curious about Yellow myself. So it's win-win for me.
I'd rather we make sure missions succeed though, if we can. But with Ozzy in there, I feel very comfortable.

So I will hold off the jumping, but any such insinuations are bad for town, so please be careful guys.

Well, idk about reasonable town thing to do. I just thought the idea of scum doing the same thing was very unlikely.
I think your read on YM is very reasonable - the avoidance of metagaming felt cruddy to me too, but I didn't think about how he was asking us not to use info like that.
