My main lynch targets for today are either Psy or Piano. While I get that Piano is trying to defend the potential cop role, there's no way for us to know if Psy really is cop or not, as the real cop, if there is, will most definetely not counterclaim. Imo, it would've looked better to me if Piano was sceptical of Psy's claim judging by Piano's actions so far, but he bought the claim no problem.

Okay, then. I'm going to have to recommend you vote me, then. I'm not voting a cop claim. If that's too difficult for you to understand, I don't know what to tell you.

When I flip town, if psy's alive tomorrow, lynch him unless there's no NK someone claims to have bodyguarded him, and just remember that Liberty's on my list. I'm also going to ask that you pay attention to Ozzy.

AlaskanEmily, you're right. I was over-thinking. Scum would just be safest killing psy tonight.

Also, keep an eye on OzzyTheOne, he already knows a bunch of us won't vote a cop claim. Keep an eye on AlaskanEmily, too. Something's off about her. As for shinan and Fomar, I don't believe they're scum, but ride shinan. It's really poor sportsmanship to join a game and then refuse to play it. He does that constantly.

Also, PA's lack of interaction since the attention has come off of him makes me really rethink my position on him. If the bandwagon falls on him, I'd vote for him. I'm getting scum vibes off him now that the attention's been on psy, Libby, and fomar. PA strikes me as scum lying low.

I'd rather not vote cop either. It's a good thing I cancelled before formar went in and nearly hammered. I'm willing to believe that could of been a new player mistake but it's worth noting.

One thing I want to point out is that interaction tale made was extremely weird. It was almost like a psy/tale coordination effort where tale wandered off and didn't explain himself after cancelling. I'd be real suspicious of tale if psy flips scum down the line.

I still need to read up and figure out who I want to vote for now.

@Emily, the problem about it being suspicious if he doesn't get NK, is that scum can simply just not kill him and kill someone else and hope that town lynches him day 2. It's a risky play, but I wouldn't put it beyond scum not to do so.

That's actually how I would personally play it.

Well, he said it's a role-cop so it's probably just put in a name, get a role back for that name. I assume. Role doesn't mean alignment which I think a few people are confusing. It's useful information, sure, but it's best kept close to the chest unless he's sure he's going to die.

I may have it wrong, but that's what it sounds like it might be. Frankly, I'm surprised people aren't pointing out about piano jumping to the conclusion that there's dupes straight away like he did. The post you refer to is why I'm suggesting for people to go ahead and lynch me. People are always going to question that, and it's going to be very useful for a vanilla to die and then for everyone to see who wasn't entirely honest in their bandwagon of him. Like Liberty.

But lemme say it straight - I have no idea what role Fomar or you or anyone else but I have. But you're the one who keeps pressing at me and now you're all "Oh you're stopping scum hunting!!!" when I reasonably point out my thoughts on your thoughts. So yeah, I'm hashtag lynching what I see as scummy behaviour.

This is how mafia works: the moderator chooses scum by rolling a damned dice or writing a random number generator or finding one on Google. You're not scum-reading Fomar, but a lot of people are, none of which justifies you acting like a jerk to anyone scum-hunting him. In fact, what's even shadier is that you're actually going out of your way to stop people scumhunting him using veiled insults and threats of counter-scumhunts. "He's new!" is not a defense. It's a deflection. In fact, that there are so many newbies in this game significantly increases the chances that one of them is scum, which I think you know and are willfully ignoring, which it seems you are either overlooking or willfully ignoring. I think you need to explain that, because I am scum reading you equally as hard as I'm scum-reading psy.

In case you're wondering what I'm accusing Libby of being extremely dishonest about.

I should probably cancel for now, but right now, I have bad feelings about some of the players, so I'm wondering about how lucky I am when it comes to gut instincts in mafia.

I definitely feel that Liberty and Psy are suspicious somehow. Psy claimed rolecop, which I think feels more like a last-minute gambit than anything to me (though that's useless to think about, since technically it is a last-minute gambit if he's scum, and the same scenario if he's not). Meanwhile, the whole feud between Liberty and Piano earlier made me suspicious of them, though I do believe that Piano had a better argument overall, and that Liberty was just much more suspicious and too defensive in that case.

Meanwhile, I think Piano was super suspicious when he just immediately dropped everything when it came to Psy suddenly roleclaiming. It felt sudden, and just really off, and kinda just a dumb, suspicious move overall.

In the end, I'm super bamboozled (does anyone actually use that word anymore?), and I don't really know what to think right now, I guess? I guess my best move right now is just to try and understand everything, and make sure that I make the right decisions overall. If enough people think I should cancel and swap my vote to someone, I can do that, no problem.

Well, um, see my above post, I guess? You, Liberty, and Piano all feel sorta off to me, but I'm an idiot, so I'm really just trusting my gut right now.

Also, damn! Game started on the 8th. It's the 11th! Day ends on the 12th. Four day phases are entirely too long.

Psy isn't entirely in the clear for me, and if he does flip scum I'm quickly going after tale because of that strange interaction that I still can't wrap my head around.

Piano was also on my wait and see list, but the way psy's information came off made him more suspicious to me. Given psy has claimed cop, I'd be completely fine going for a piano lynch.

PA isn't in the clear with me either, but since psy is likely investigating him tonight I'm unsure if I want to vote that way. He hinted some sort of investigative role, whereas psy has outright claimed one. I guess it could be a different type of investigative role (maybe alignment instead of role?). I'm not sure I buy that though because you'd want to usually stay hidden and not hint at one.
