I am almost certain that one of Liberty, Piano man and wombats is scum. They are almost obsessed with each other (although wombats is not as crazy as the other two) and I can make very little of their mutual aligations.
One of them is scum, and trying to get the other killed, that seems likely. I don't have a strong preference for any one, they all seem equally bad to me, honestly.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a piano+lib or piano+wombats scumteam either, where they're doing this whole song and dance to distance themselves. If it's piano+wombats, then things have definitely gone very well for them. Both are in the clear for now, and psy claimed a role that's so useless that we will not suspect him if he lives tonight.
I'm not a fan of this Shinan vote. It feels much too quick, and there has been too little pushback. I would be very surprised if he flips scum. I don't have a choice but to hammer him now, as it's too late to vote for someone else I guess.

Emily and others think I was fishing for claims. I never asked anyone to claim a power role, and I didn't want them to. I wanted everyone to claim hated with me, that should be clear from my post. Fomar said something like this too.
Of course Fomar is going to react like that, it's his first game and he's not used to seeing that kind of weirdness and is reacting with his gut. Fomar seems townish to me, overall.
Not sure where I stand wrt Emily. Her accusation of me seems a bit ungenuine. I can't really see how that would make sense to her.

I don't really see fault with this. It has been echoed throughout the entirey of day 1 from multiple people that the first person to die is usually ranomd.
As for my willingess to hammer Shinan, I just really wanted to get this damn 4 day long day phase to be over. Sorry for my rash behaviour y'all, voting for Shinan truly was a bad call.
So, back to my scum list, my main supects are still Piano, Liberty and Psy. I'm gonna read through the thread again and see if I can get my undecisive ass to pin a vote I can stick with.

I have to disagree shinan. If we lynch randomly on day 1 for no reason then that still leaves us with nothing to look at. If we lynch based on people having conversations and one of them acting weird, then there's nothing to look at. Otherwise we might as well lynch based off a dice roll and then because of that everyone's lynches didn't actually matter, and we go into day 2 with nothing.
From your activity thus far it makes you look like you'd be unhelpful in the later game. I could be wrong on this and your activity does pick up day 2 and onward, but that's what the inactivity makes it look like.
Shinans at a safe 5 so I'll just leave that be while we wait and see what psy and ivory have to say.

I'm definitely on board to lynch Liberty (or Piano). I've said before that that both side smell scummy to me.
I think I'm fine with trusting the majority and just going with what they say, though my gut thinks that Liberty, Piano, and Psy are all pretty suspicious.

Rereading the stuff that's happened since I went to sleep (and a little bit before that), it also does seem pretty weird that they immediately just stopped arguing. Both being scum does seem pretty plausible to me even just for that. I get hugely scummy vibes from that entire interaction.

First of all, let's compare psy and shinan.
Psy's initial lynch/bandwagon started because some/most of us actually think he's scum. He interacted, a LOT, and we got those vibes from him.
Shinan, on the other hand, is the least active person in the whole fucking game. Why the fuck would you even lynch someone, who WON'T even TRY to defend himself even after being bandwagoned on? Oh, wait, doesn't that sound too easy a lynch for scum??? Yup!!! :D
There is literally no tell on him..!! If that's the case, why not lynch kitten or tale then? Even tale with such little post he still managed to be shady as fuck in his posts. Well, Lib?
Now, the most problematic...problem: Psy's "claim".
How in the FUCK does no one thinks it sounds like complete bullshit?? A role cop is literally the scummiest fucking role ever. Even in previous games, 90% of the time a role cop is scum. Now, if he'd actually roleclaim a normal ("alignment") cop, that's an entirely differently thing. Him being alive the next day won't let us know alignments other than other people's role. If town actually had some fucking decent PR, I can't definitely see this being a scum PR.
I am definitely very willing to keep my vote on psy again OR PA.

You are literally being a hypocrite. You say you don't agree with him lynching randomly and yet you are doing the exact same thing that he advocates.
Yes - in the future, if he keeps this up, he won't be particularly helpful to town, BUT I'd rather we lynch someone we all actually think is scummy than a person who gives zero fucks to the game. Lynching him tells us nothing with how he basically distanced everyone, lynching other people at least tells us something.
