RELATIONS WITH THE GENDER OF YOUR PREFERENCE

I'm really amazed at how inexperienced in the dating world so many people on here are. I'm shy, nerdy, and socially awkward, and yet I've "seriously" dated about 8 people now (I'm 21). A lot of peoples' excuses and defeatist attitudes are pretty sad. Optimism is key.

I'm friggin' confused on what to do here...

Okay, so last month or so, me and this girl liked eachother. We went on a date, turned out really well, we talked a lot and all that. Then suddenly outta nowhere she tells me that she's not interested in a relationship and basically tells me that she's not interested anymore.

We talked still, but not like we used to. But recently we've been talking more and more and I'm starting to take interest again and i think i can sense minor interest in her too. Problem? I'm still not too sure if she's interested and i'm actually pretty bad at telling.

Now rejection isn't really a big deal to me anymore (after i overcame my fear of rejection, it's been much MUCH easier talking to girls i'm interested in.) but knowing my terrible luck, i'm wondering on wether I should try again or just move on to someone else.

I moved to this new town and lo and behold, I met a girl. The thing is, she is moving to another town in a bit. I can tell that she likes me, or at the very least admires me in the way that close friends do, but she refuses to hang out with just me, the two of us. She says it is for fear that we will fall in teh luf, and she does not have to want to "deal with that" when she moves. I figure though that if she really wanted to, she would have, so its just a matter of intent. She doesn't care enough to want it bad enough to do it.

Which kinda bums me out. :/ Which is why I make RPGs.

and D-Bones, ditch that girl. If she said she's not interested, then move on! You don't need a girl to make you wait around for her... you're better than that! Plenty of fish in the sea, you'll find another.

If I were you D-Bones, I'd move on to another girl and keep my eye on the previous girl. She'll probably become jealous/territorial and probably go out of her way to get your attention. Another way for girls to like guys, is it the guy talks to them enough to where they talk, but ignores them enough to where she wants more.

Y'know, that's kinda what i was thinking of doing...

D-Bones, just move on man. If she becomes jealous or whatev, then act on in then, but don't let your mind stray back to her! She is in the past, and you've got a whole ton of future ahead of you. Girls ain't worth waiting for. Especially when they've already expressed their disinterest.
