HOW TO MANAGE DEVELOPMENT?
Posts
For me the hardest part is just getting into the editor and actually doing stuff instead of putting it off forever (often enough because I want to PLAY more videogames). I don't think I've even been productive enough yet to run into most of the pitfalls that people are being warned against here. But I'm trying, or like Bart Simpson, I'm trying to try.
The only thing I know for sure is that for me the hardest part of being a game dev is trying to get your stuff noticed and that's probably the thing I will have the most trouble managing if and when I start actually finishing some more fucking games. I hate clamoring for attention in any format but it is absolutely necessary in a marketplace this crowded with games.
Including bathroom breaks?

author=Soozauthor=Red_NovaHeed this man's words! Burnout is the enemy of all creative endeavors. Despite what shitty tech companies tell you, you cannot maintain a constant output of stuff. Sometimes you at least need a dang break to play some video games.
Schedule time to take breaks.
This is a great tip. When I'm feeling burnt out or lacking inspiration, I invest my time into playing a new jRPG to completion (or anything, really). This always works for me. By the time I'm done playing the game, I have newfound inspiration, lots of new ideas, and all I want to do is work on my game.
Read all the feedback. I have so many new ideas to try out and see what fits me best. Thank you everybody! <3
