[RMMZ] GAME STILL "PENDING" AFTER 6 DAYS

Posts

Pages: 1
Dear rmn Team.

My game "The singing Sword" is still marked as "Pending" after 6 days. According to Decky the dog pirate in this thread it shouldn't take longer than 3 days for a game to be accepted.

I would appreciate it when my game gets accepted, because i spent a lot of time and afford into it and want it to be released as soon as possible.

Greetings,
Wildschwein
?? are you sure that is right place?

Not really. I just thought that's the right place...
i would wait for 1-2 weeks before reporting tbh. sometimes the mods are busy with other things.

Deckiller was formerly the staff member that took care of the game submission queue. I can't exactly recall how long ago it was, but, he's since stood down, and Liberty has taken over that position.

As to this matter, Liberty has made it known that a game submission can be on the queue for about a week, depending on when she checks the queue. Of course, extenuating circumstances can arise, making her take longer. Keep in mind that holidays are around the corner, and who knows how that could affect things?

In this particular case, the game hasn't quite gotten past the week mark. My personal rule of thumb is for a submission to be on the queue for two weeks before considering sending off a PM.

While you're waiting, you should like play other peoples' games and leave reviews and comment on their screenshots and all that. You just joined here, no one knows who you are, your makerscore is 5. This will (IMO) all increase the chances that other people might play your game, or at least comment on your game page.

And don't be obnoxious in the forums.

It usually takes 1-2 weeks for a game to be posted, sometimes even longer if an event is going on as event games are prioritized in the que. And your game isn't getting attention because it's not up yet. No one can see it but you and whatever mods check the que. And make sure you have three or more screenshots that aren't the title screen, game over screen, concept art, or assets or your game will nor be approved. Heck, if you don't even have 3 screenshots your game won't even show up in the first place.

False!
It should take one week tops, and event games aren't prioritised, they get done at the same time (because it would be inefficient to not do all of them if you're doing any).

You are right about the other stuff though. I always recommend a few extra images than just three, because showing off more parts of your game is probably going to draw in people to gawk more, too.

Good to know. But in my experience when posting my games, especially in the past, it takes between 1 and 2 weeks to have then go through once they're in the que. I also noticed that it usually took longer for my stuff to go through during events, but maybe it was all a coincidence? IDK. Also, is the OP banned? Because I look at his post history and it seems he may be permabanned for being annoying and blatantly trolling? I don't want to be responding to a dead account or something.
Yeah, dead account, but consider it as for those who are new to the site or searching up the same topic.

The wait times have recently changed because we have a new Queue Keeper who is on the ball like woah~ XD
It used to take maybe that long if your game got denied a time or two or I got sick. I figured I needed to let someone else take over because it wasn't fair to peeps to expect a week tops and maybe get a longer wait, so yeah, Frogge is now in!
