36 DAYS LEFT - THE COUNTDOWN TO BRAWL
Posts
Well, this proves that characters are not final yet.
Olimar I was expecting, but not as a character. I expected him as an assist trophy.

Olimar is an excellent addition.

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we've had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.
I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

More delays for Brawl. I wouldn't be surprised if another one came when it gets closer to march. This game had better be freakin good with the wait we have had to endure.
*fast forwards to August '08*
ARE YOU EVER GONNA RELEASE THIS GAME!
What's sad is that it may happen if they try to keep adding things in last minute.

This is sad, but for some reason I am not as bothered by it as I should be. Guess I have stuff going on between now and then anyway, so I wouldn't have much time to play it anyway.
Sheik is cool. Also, I'm not too disappointed with the delay. I have a lot of stuff to do anyways.
Not sure if this has been mentioned in this topic or elsewhere on this forum, but Famitsu has given Brawl the coveted 40/40 score.
I've been watching the vids. Brawl looks cool n' all, but does anyone else get the feeling that the game has gotten too "hardcore"?
The original SSB was a light and fun and easy to pick up and play game. Brawl looks freakishly complex in comparison. It's like watching a 3D MUGEN game. It kind of turns me off.
Especially the Final Smashes - Reminds me of every hardcore fighting game's gimmick since 1998 (screen background changes/goes dark, some unintelligible japanese is spouted out, followed by a bunch of impossible to follow move animations with plenty of flashy lights and sound effects *BOOM FLASH BANG FIZZ BIFF ZOK* everyone's dead. Bleh.

Iish: I saw that earlier today. Interesting stuff, to be sure.
ken: I think the great thing about Smash, is that you can really tweak it into a hardcore match or not. You can turn Final Smashes off as well as other items. You can really customize the game. Brawl looks to be very customizable, which is what I like.
