[RM2K3] [RM2K] EDITS OR NEW MONSTER SPRITES???

I dunno if this is another redundant question but I guess I don't really care at this point. Whatever.

I am an image editor/actual illustrator, and I've worked with photoshop for a long time, though I'm kind of wondering if there are any other pages like VIRPG out there, mostly for monster resources, though (NOT) from other SNES games or the alike, I'm not really looking for too many rips from other games, more 'original sprites' per say or at least decent edits:

This site is so good! I found a bunch of incredible resources on here. Though I wonder if there are any other edits of RM2k or RM2k3 monster resources floating around the web? I did find someone's (edits) of RM2k sprites that were also pretty good. I'm trying to look for graphics in the same style as the RM2k just to make some of my games feel less RTPish, or at least trying to add more nuance to the RTP to make the games really sing. Just RTP is not enough to me. Just kind of curious if there's any other resources around. I hope I'm not wasting anyone's time. ;_;

RPG Maker 2k and 2k3 aren't used very often anymore. Most people use VXA, MV, or whatever the newest engine is. Most of them use MV, which is the most popular maker engine by far. I don't think there are really that many 2k and 2k3 assets out there on the internet because those engines are very unpopular there days. They were super popular back in the early/mid 2000s back when the only way to use RPG Maker was through the pirate version of 2k, but they aren't anymore. If they're were any large databases of 2k/2k3 assets, the domains no longer exist because they're so ld and outdated.

However, I do know a guy who has a TON of RPG Maker battler assets all custom made and in his own unique style. You don't even need to worry about matching with the RTP since he has so many, easily over 50,000 battlers. He name is Akashics, and he runs a patreon for only $1 a month for access all the battlers he's ever made. Along with that, with just a $1 donation you have to ability to suggest literally any battler you can possibly think of to be added to the pool of possible battlers to make. At the beginning of each month Akashics does a patreon poll where he gets the most recent battlers submitted from each person both for static and animated battlers, with the top 4 from each being made for that month. Basiclly, infinite commissions for $1 a month. It's a really good deal, and even kids with just their parent's allowance can afford it. The best part is that his battlers can be used for any engine, not just RPG Maker, and with a bit of image editing to change the resolution they can work in nearly every RM program. I highly, highly recomend subscribing to his patreon for all your battler needs going forward. And maybe you should consider switching to MV? Because IMO MV is way less restrictive with what you can do in the engine compared to 2k or 2k3.
