WHAT VIDEOGAMES ARE YOU PLAYING RIGHT NOW?

Maybe my opinion will improve as I progress further, but so far the story has ranged from uninspired at its best to grossly offensive at its worst. Seriously, if I see one more white person dressed in a stereotypical Native American costume and talking like a Hollywood "noble savage"...
It's not a bad game per se, but there was another open world post-apocalyptic science fiction action RPG starring a female protagonist fighting robots that have overrun the ruins of human civilization released that week and it's a much better game.

I am still playing Zelda and I am at least up to 70 hours. Probably 80.
It is great.
It is great.

Oh, you haven't finished it yet? Ah, there's reasons for that. Enjoy!
(Was there? What's it called?)

NieR: Automata - the only AAA game I care about this year. Knew it was one to watch the moment they released this.
Nier Automata is a beautiful experience and everyone should play it. It's one of the best games I've played in a long, long time.
Ehhhhhhh... do I have to play the original NeiR in order to play it, because I've heard and seen some stuff that makes it not my kind of game.
Ugh, I need at least a PC and a Switch, and I can't afford either ( -_-) Really jelly about being able to play Nier Automata...

Worry not, Deltree has you covered, having released The Tenth Line the same day as the Steam version of Nier Automata! Which wasn't exactly a brilliant idea since now no-one is writing about his game at all, but oh well.
EDIT: New Mass Effect is releasing in 2 days as well, and the way everyone not trying to review Nier on PC is now busy speculating whether or not it'll fail probably doesn't help him either. Perhaps he might get some sales and attention due to the backlash, though? A bit like how Reigns came out right after No Man's Sky and people started reviewing it and talking about it, first to make a "this game is better than NMS!" jab, then because they genuinely liked it? We'll see, I guess.
So I just beat breath of the wild, though I should go back and finish a few other things in it before I take a break from it.
I bit the bullet and started playing through the Mass Effect games for the first time, with a renegade Shepard. Although I'm not really into space stories or shooters, the games turned out to be more fun and accessible to me than I expected :)

Having played the original Nier enriches the experience but it's not required. It's a very distant sequel.

Just got to the point where I feel comfortable attempting the final battle. But there is still a lot I have left to see and do.
Game is fantastic. Easily the best Zelda game; one reviewer from GameInformer put it: "all the previous Zelda games feel shallow after this". And boy do they.

The last battle isn't bad if you come well prepared.

This. I've been telling people its the best Zelda game yet, and for good reason.
Also, im curious to know how well it performs on WiiU, so if anyone whos got it could let me know, thatd be cool and appreciated.
So I checked out some videos of the new Neir game and meh, it's not my kind of thing. I'm not big on shmup-type games, or sidescrolling and I'm definitely not a fan of the aesethetic. I can appreciate it but it's not my kind of thing. I got pretty bored just watching. Big robots by themselves just don't do it for me, I'm afraid.
In other news, still having fun with Dragon Age Inquisition. Still want Horizon: Zero Dawn. Still playing Minecraft.
