Finally got into fourth gen via Pkmn Platinum for $3.

Lunar: Silver Star Harmony.

I used to own a copy of the ps1 version of this game, way back when. A tragic lending of the game to some guy I barely knew resulted in him selling it (for like $120 I'll add) telling me he did so about an hour before he moved away. I was shaken. The game was so sweet.

This remake feels like it tried to make the game better, but it did so by shitting all over the nostalgia factor. The 2d chipset maps have been replaced with what appear to be hand drawn backgrounds. The dialogue is different, the opening themesong has had it's words changed (but is still set to the same instrumental melody), they still seem to re-use a lot of their old anime cutscenes, but the dialogue is different in them, and the battle system is different.

I want to like this game, but it's hard.
Dragon Age Origins (PS3)

I was a huge fan of the first KoToR, never having a chance to play the second one. So far, DAO is a lot of fun. The story line is very good, and the characters never cease to amuse, especially the templar and the mage chick.
Breath of Fire IV. Again. I'm not a big fan of the angles (both camera and natural). Other than that, it's still as great as I remember it! I'm downloading a TON of games now so that when I head back to College, I won't have to suffer (as much) through their terribly slow internet connection.
My cousin gave me Legend of Legaia (for no reason, he didn't even know he had it). Perfect condition, jewel case, manual, and everything.

'Bout to fire up that shit today.

Having a signature is too mainstream. I'm not part of your system!

My first time playing DMC3. It only took about 10 tries to beat the friggin Cerberus.

Final Fantasy IX, I forgot how good this game was, aside from the slow as battles I can still thoroughly enjoy it. I also forgot all the little hints to the past Final Fantasies that are in this game, like that NPC Locke in Lindblum who talks about his past travels, the big sword referring to Clouds Buster Sword in the weapons store, white mage outfit Garnet wears at the start.

This game has the best atmosphere of any Final Fantasy I reckon. I loved just walking around Lindblum, plus one of the best town songs to boot.
Now I'm playing Lost in Blue 2. It's surprisingly addictive for an island survival game.
Okay so having played through Nanostray recently I quite obviously went to try the sequel, and of course the player would still have a life bar and the easy difficulty (I'm crap at scrolling shmups) would still have unlimited continues, correct?

Nope, the ship's tech got downgraded to make everything 1-Shot it and they stuck continues in easy difficulty, insult to injury damnit.

Everything else is better: a combo of side + vert scrolling, selectable sub weapon and 3 different, movable, positions for the support ships. Too bad they just made it far harder than it needs be... (Urgh)
You really need to remember that you are talking about a shoot-em-up game. Those are meant to be deadly hard even on the easy setting. But you really need to be careful of bullet-hell shumps. They're the pretty but deadly ones.
Red Dead Redemption - Rank 47.. So keen to get that Rank 50 Trophy on the PSN
Final Fantasy VII - Disc 3.. Can't really be bothered starting on the Mako Pit.
M.A.G - Epicness on an Epic scale lol
Yeah I know shmups are meant to be deadly hard on the lowest difficulties, the only problem I find is downgrading the ship to taking 1 hit kills, especially on the DS, is overkill. Though really I shouldn't complain about that, I had R-Type DX for the GBC xd

And on Bullet Hell, I've managed to get to the final boss of TOuhou 6 on Normal, but the hitbox for the player on that is so small compared to the environment that it;s very rarely a cheap enviromental death and more crap at dodging.

On another note, I found my Icewind Dale DVD again, so I'll probably be spending the next few hours trying to get it to work with my cra-I mean Vista laptop...
Overblood. There isn't as much blood as you'd think!
Started Persona 2: Eternal Punishment...but the english translation and VAs scared me away.

Playing FF 12: Revenant Wings...it's actually pretty fun.

The 256 player maps are the biggest clusterfuck I've ever seen. Fun game though.
I play-- err tried to play Saya no Uta. I think the fried eggs from yesterday are going to show their face again... Really, this game makes me feel like a terrible person D:
