WHAT VIDEOGAMES ARE YOU PLAYING RIGHT NOW?
Posts
Just started Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Really fun! I played SW:KotOR 2 before on xbox, and got bored quickly. So this is a pleasant surprise. Totally going Darkside.

I picked up Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Game of the Year Edition this morning. I've heard good things about it, and I do like it so far.
Morrowind is the only Bethesda game that I still enjoy. It just felt like the most complete package overall.
Gran Turismo 5 is fun! I've sunk quite a bit of time into it already, and I'm enjoying it the more I play it. Here's me racing on a custom track that I generated in the track maker.

So Epic Mickey is as awesome as I expected it to be, a little easy but to be honest, it's a disney game so I wasn't expecting it to be all that tough. I've only played a small amount of the game so far, and it's all fairly simple stuff, and the paint and thinner aspect works extremely well.
Also playing Company of Heroes, which I wasn't saying no to at £2.50, and it's campaign is extremely brilliant, but taking a lot of my time. Heck the mission I just cleared took about 3 hours and it's the 5th mission in.

Hi, been lurking around this site for some time, so I figured I might actually post something :) HI ALL !!
Playing:
Cross Edge .....much better than most people and reviewers make it look, imho, so much fun
Modern Warfare 2......horrible community, horrible server system/interface/support, but the game itself is fun
Plants VS zombies...... kinda the same after few playthroughs, but casually its great
Some NES games, like CONTRA, or Tiny Toon Adventures, oh boy where are the times when I was able to go through contra without even dying once...
Tried to play:
some of the old rpgs, like FF6(might play sometimes), Xenogears(too much story compared to battles, and Gear battles seemed kinda...meh), Tales of....games(didnt like the combat system), FFT (made me wanna replay Disgaea 3 and actually plunge into it this time around, namely the end-game), and some others

author=choI got this game as well, got to the end of 2nd planet, but didnt like it either, namely the combat, Im more of a turn-based combat fan...... and the planets felt too earth-like, nothing eye-catching/worth exploring
finally tried Star Ocean 4
worse than i was expecting
don't think i'll continue playing!
So, my Gran Turismo 5 experiences have been thus:
Attempt 1:
-Excitedly install the game, create a save file, and generally wait 40/30 minutes to play.
-Wait through the overly lengthy opening movie... which has really bad classical music accompanying a video showcasing the factory process of how a car is made. (Excitement waning.)
-Open up the game finally, wait the menu load times out (long for an installed game!!)
-Set my profile colour scheme (yeah...)
-Finally decide to race, need to buy a car.
-Don't have a high enough License level for most cars.
-Take all the B-Spec License tests...
-Resort finally to a used car as my first.
-Open B-spec, expecting it to be lower than A-Spec level racing. (the screen was too far away to read the information telling me otherwise, earlier on)
-Pick a race (more menu load times!) only to find I need to create a driver.
-Create a driver.
-Reload pick a race menu. Enter first race.
-Learn quickly that I'm not racing... I'm telling my AI driver what to do while HE races. Figure at this point that I have to do this before any real racing starts?
-Get fed up and quit, after a huge let down experience.
Attempt 2:
-Friend text messages me that I'm dumb and that A-Spec racing is actual racing.
-Get home from Regina, as that's where I was visiting while first attempting the game and re-install on MY ps3 all the shit like last time.
-Do all the tests to be able to get a high license level car
-Go to A-Spec racing
-Enjoy the game!
It's very fun... if you're not an idiot like Dudesoft the first time.

Yeah, I dunno. That game had some pretty exciting barrels.

Built almost entirely out of Obsidian on my university friend's server. Doesn't feel complete to me now that I've looked at it from this angle... thinking of making an 'orb' of some sort and suspending it above the tower.
Still playing Gran Turismo 5. It's really trying my patience.
I bought a Lambourghini Murcielago which apparently handles like ass and can't take a single corner without sliding into the closest wall.
The kicker is that it only cost about 250,000 or credits, but to repair it - when there is no visible damage at all - costs 500,000 credits. Something doesn't seem right here....
