Strangely enough, when I tried logging in, I got the 'Site Down' page at first. Though reloading this page somehow got me through?

We need to make sure to Internet Archive the whole site :P

It's back! So glad to see the site back and running again! Downloads may be offline for the moment, but just seeing the site again is great progress. Thanks for all the hard work Ankylo! As well as Libby and Kentona and whoever else that helped out in the background that I'm not aware of.

Also yeah generally speaking itch.io is really good for secure game hosting, so I definitely recommend doing that even if RMN wasn't down for weeks.

The site seems to be faster to load than before, too. It's like an upgrade from most angles!

Jokes aside (my life-- ok I swear I'm good sorry I just need sleep and gammak) uh it's so good to finally be able to use this site without web archive. Tho web archive loads faster! :)

I just want to thank the staff, everyone involved and especially ankylo for allowing such an awesome website and community to continue on.

Losing the downloads does suck a tad in my opinion since some of the older games on this site were probably only hosted here. So there is probably going to be a lot of games added to the list of lost media. Especially since a lot of the people behind those older projects have disappeared into the ether and even if they could be found they probably lost the files for those projects a long time ago. It's sort of why I regret deleting so many games off of my computer over the years since those projects eventually became inaccessible anywhere online.

At any rate after several hours of work I've finally managed to finish submitting all of the media submissions I had been holding back on at the request of the site administrators.

That's good. Though I'm not sure how easy it will be to host them else where either. After all, some of those long lost developers may not approve of people reuploading their projects to sites like itch.io.

After all, I've had developers give me the cold shoulder for simply asking why they haven't posted their game to this site or in one case was told explicitly that they didn't want their game hosted on this site in the case of "Sailor Chibi Moon's Great Adventure".

Also the locker appears to be acting up. I'm unable to delete files or make them private. When I click delete, it disables the delete button, but after reloading the page, the file is still there.

To delete a file from your locker, you press delete, then the update button on the bottom of the page. It might be possible that setting a file that is already there to private/public requires similar steps (ie: click on the access indicator to switch between public or private access, then click update)?
