Halo fans are pretty bad. They think Halo is a godsend (not saying it's a bad game, i actually love Halo ;D) and everything that's not Halo isn't even worth playing.
But they're not the worst....

The worst has to be....
SONIC FANS.
All over the internet there are crazy sonic fans. They are the video game equivalent of Naruto fanboys/girls. Sometimes the things they do in their fandom can be scary (We all know about xxx, right? If not, you're lucky.) And of course, If something doesn't have to do with Sonic, they talk bad about it.
So anyway, what series do YOU think has the worst fans?

WoW players annoy me. A friend of a friend and I were chatting and he said, "So I took a break from WoW to play The Force Unleashed and..." and I was like, WTF? 'took a break'? Its a fucking game, not a job.

A friend of mine is like that. Instead of going shopping and paying bills he buys weapons and armor off ebay and spends about $300 a week on that.

Fans of a game that isn't that good.
Any fan of a game that lets you do something you can't in real
life who think they are awesome just because they're good at that game.
Two biggest examples are guitar hero and madden( any sports game.).

Nostalgia fanboys. Sure there were good games back then but there are better games now with just as much garbage now as there was then.
Since that's not actually a series I'll say Final Fantasy fanboys for being the people who helped make Dirge of Cerberus a Greatest Hits title.

Any series. I don't like series too much, but people who obsess over them annoy me no matter what the series is. I mean, I like to branch out what I play a lot, so just focusing on one set series a lot is annoying to me. Well, I guess the most annoying fanboys are probably those of Final Fantasy.

Ironically, I find the Sonic fanbase to be the most unpleasable fanbase ever built, and I'm a Sonic fan myself. Of course, it's ignorant to group us all together and say we're all the same, but I won't hold it against you.
There is something mentally wrong with anyone who would count themselves among the "Sonic fanbase" in this day and age. It's no surprise that they'd be awful.
