FINAL FANTASY 13 DELAYED

It really seems Square is being a little too ambitious with the title(s).

I'll pick it up in 4 years time when ps3 and ff13 are cheap. I don't mind waiting.

Ha ha, then I'd have to be one to disagree with you. Lost Odyssey has been the best RPG I've played in a LONG time. it's characters were fantastic. Very life-like in the way they acted, and their voice actors did a tremendous job in bringing their personalities to life. It's not that the story was anything to write home about, but the way it was presented! That was the best part about it!

The battles were slow, and that is a given. But I suppose that really depends on a persons tastes and opinions, like everything else. Me? I also loved the battle system. I dunno... gave me the feeling like I was playing FFX again, but with a bit more strategy involved, and with more of a challenge.

Music, characters, graphics, voices...everything! All of it was just awesome. It all just gets epic during the 3rd disc, though. Definitly beats near every FF I've played, and surpasses alot of other RPG's I've also played, too.


As for XIII...well, I sort of see it happening. I didn't think it'd be out this year, and my friend was talking to be a few weeks ago about how it would more than likely not be released untill 2010. I'd like it to be eariler, but eh...what can you do?

That was a great game and very challenging too towards the end.

I refuse to believe this is a serious post. Dirge of Cerberus is the of video games. The game introduces a new group which makes no sense that nobody knew about them which you fight the worst way possible with a gun which has terrible ammo capacity (18 bullets... and you shoot three at a time in a single shot) and their leaders are named as Colour the Colour, one of which wears a straightjacket and a jockstap on his face. Another character is Japanese pedo bait (she's 19 but looks like she's 9) and another has her eye closed from battle except it looks like she just has it closed like the eyelid got stuck midwink. These terrible characters (and the just as bad plot) makes up most of the game because the game throws a few dozen cutscenes at you at a time then it comes up with boring gameplay segments which later on include bullet immune guards (remember DoC is a third person shooter) and after that bullet immune snipers and then the game discards any investments you made into your weapons by throwing it all away and giving you a super gun.

Its worse than Kingdom Hearts 2.

Well that's your opinion and mine is i like it. It was different to most final fantasy games and the character designs i loved.

Not entirely his opinion, since you know, he backed it up with some facts.

I don't particularly like Dragon Quest that much...

But FFXIII... Delayed until 2010... I may HAVE to play DQ9 just to get my RPG fix.
I hope after they've delayed it so long FFXIII will be all they made it out to be, rather than another FFXII, which wasn't as good as everyone expected.

I'm more excited about Versus XIII though, but if they delayed XIII, I assume they delayed that too.

no it's not. It will always remain as the best final fantasy saga.

I will always think FFVII was the best one, but mainly because it was the first FF I've played.
To be honest though, FFX was amazing. It's hard to choose between the two.

I thought that IX, IV, and Vi were some of the best Final Fantasy's. Especially IX, which was my personal favourite out of all the FF's. I just it's music, characters, and...everything! Just had this certain feel which drew me in.

Then again, I don't hate any of the main Final Fantasy games. I've beaten 'em all except for XI, and not one really made me "Hate" it. I wasn't fond of II, but didn't really mind it compared to some people. Final Fantasy and V aren't really the ones I've come to love, either. They're enjoyable, but I find them to be the lower ones. VII and VIII are in the middle for me. Definitlly liked VII, with VIII not far behind, ut they're definitly not the best for me.
