Man I weas looking forward to RMN3 and actually believed it would come out. I guess I'm just that gullible. I believed GW would release last winter too. I'm so easily fooled.
I suppose all chances for the real reorganization went away with WIP then? So much for change...
To be honst I really don't know what to do now. The page as it is is just horrible and unbrowsable and I really wanted the shift of focus from the forums to the real content.

Actually the shift from the forums to the mainsite will continue, though, as you mentioned, some aspects of the current site are not very user friendly at the moment. We've already begun working on some of these areas.

I just joined so I never got a chance to get to know the guy obviously
so this news didn't get much reaction out of me, the RMN3 feature of games being automatically bumped up when they are updated was somthing I was really looking forward to and I hope that feature is still feasible without WIP
but even if it isn't I think the way the site is now is ok

I am still very disappointed in the state of limbo that RMN3 fell into; it was pretty much my biggest hope for the community. Demanding it now though would be selfish, and I'll continue working with other members to make sure their games make the cut for the front page.

Man...I really liked his idea regarding rmn3 he has a lot of stuff to offer and would be awesome to see how this new org is going to work since it has never been done before :<

I already asked most of the questions I had about it on IRC last night.
I'm gonna miss WIP, I sincerely hope he returns soon. Not necessarily as an Admin, just as a member of the community.

oh boy. Well, its a shame to see WIP of all people go. Sure, I didn't always see eye to eye with the fella, but i know he meant well at least. Its a shame to see rmn3 on indefinite hold; i was curious to see how that would fare. Well, anyway, if you're reading this or get word of it WIP, good luck man. Also, good luck with making ika better.

I've had my disagreements with WIP in the past, but it's still a shame to see him go completely. He's the one that built the site from the ground up, and it's too bad to see him go. I sincerely wish him luck in whatever he decided to do from this point on.
However, I don't want this to be the end of RMN's development and progress; I hope the site and community continues to flourish, and that's up to us, isn't it?

What do contributors have to do exactly? I know Max was originally one and so was Asa.
RMN2.5 will do just about everything that RMN3 was going to do, you guys, just not in a way that is pretty. We are working on it, especially Ankylo and Holbert. Please pardon our dust.

I am honestly disgusted with whoever made WIP leave. His vision was the best thing that could have came to the community. I don't even know if I want to stay here, really.
But hey, whatever. Good luck with making the changes.
