...I don't want the entire vision or appeal of the RMN community to be linked to any one person's arrival or departure, and it would be kind of dumb for anyone to actually leave. Instead of that, why not just work hard to preserve and continually improve the site regardless?

Everyone needs to heed these words. WIP is gone, so what. It may have been his site, but we, the members, were the life-blood that kept it going. Lets continue to do that.

I like the fact that the latest game updates section was added to the homepage, although the new arrangement isn't quite as aesthetically pleasing. Something I would really like to see along with the other changes to the game listings is for the A-Z Listing to actually be A-Z instead of pick a number between one and fifty-four. Please tell me this is going to happen eventually, please.

Yeah, I'll agree that will be useful, given that the listing of games is growing day after day. There used to be another website (I don't remember if it was rm2knet or the old gamingw), that also let you see game listing by date added or popularity (it was probably based on number of downloads), which would be two other useful ways of having the listings.

Another improvement that I would like to see and at some point and that WIP mentioned that would have been part of RMN3 is the ability to search anywhere in RMN including the forums. For example, sometimes I would like to refer to somebody's comment way back and don't recall in which forum topic something was mentioned.

And yeah as GOGP also said earlier in the post ... while I haven't been involved in the community until recently, I did notice that WIP's latest interventions in the forums had been less than friendly, making his exit less than unexpected. I do wish him the best of luck! Hopefully, those of us who remain involved will set a better tone for this community ...

What do contributors have to do exactly? I know Max was originally one and so was Asa.

I'm pretty sure you have to write reviews, articles and all that stuff. Help contribute to the site.

As much as WIPs done for the the community and he's built the site, I don't think that RMN has any sort of uncertain future or anything. The site staff and the community are very capable people, and to be blunt, it's not like everyone except WIP is retarded or anything! We'll figure something out and keep it going; tying your entire presence in a community to one person seems kind of foolish to me!

Well it is hard being the owner of a site especially one like this that is growing every day. I don't think that WIP will be gone for good.

Did WIP leave anything from RMN3 to you guys or just kinda said he couldn't do it anymore and went off to pursue other things?

Also, whatever you do Kentona, you do it well haha. I would apply for some staff position but I'm fading in and out of the communitys I go to. If this happened last year I would have jumped at this opportunity.
