Damn! Really?! I love Nintendo, but somtimes I really wish they would step things up.
Well, I'd like a good RPG for the DS, as it's the only gaming "platform" I own, and won't be investing in any other, since I don't really have that much time to spend on playing games anymore (too many hobbies).
Anyway, I'd like to play:
- another CastleVania game if they get around to making one for the DS
- Valkyrie Profile: Insert Stupid Subtitle Here
- Black Sigil (for the graphics mostly; I want to see what quality pixelart an indie (?) developer can afford/produce)
- Knights in the Nightmare (I doubt this game will appeal to me gameplay-wise, but the graphics look awesome)
- maybe the new Megami Tensei title, but from what I remember from the released screens the graphics are stupid anime garbage (which probably says something about the story), so I don't know
... and that's it, unless they announce something new.
TBH I'm looking more to certain RPG Maker games than commercial ones.

Right now I am anticipating Resident Evil 5. I'm a big RE fan here; I have always loved the series. When RE4 came, and I heard it was going to be different from the other games, I got pissed and said I wasn't going to play it. But I eventually did, and ended up loving it. It seems RE5 will be extremely similar to RE4, which is good, I suppose.
I also plan on buying the new Star Ocean as well as the new Fire Emblem for DS. They are actually both out right now...ARG! SO... TEMPTING...! MUST GO PURCHASE! However my budget won't allow the purchase of them at the moment. Guess I gotta wait... :(

I'm not particularly hyped for anything in 2009... I'll probably buy RE5 (a friend of mine convinced me to, after we played the demo together a few time lol) but besides that, I just hope that GT5 and FFXIII come out soon ;-;

PS3 is beginning to have enough things to make me get a little interested. Hopefully in a years time it will be under 200.

Probably won't be coming out in North America because no one but the critics bought it. But maybe Europe ... here's hoping. Otherwise, I'm glad that the PS3 is region-free!!

Because an innovative new way to control videogames < ZOMG HD GRAPHICS! Seriously...
An innovative new way that gets annoying after about 5 minutes and has degenerated into a senseless gimmick in most games... That decide to use it, at least.
Not to say the other consoles are outstanding: The PS3 is an overpriced piece of shit and the 360 is host to one of the worst online communities since World of Warcraft... Also you can get a lot of 360 games on the PC: which makes me wonder why the hell I bought one to begin with...

I, technically, do NOT "own" a 360. My roommate does and he doesn't give that much of a crap about it, so much so that it's even in my room right now. So I've been buying games for it and playing the shit out of it.
I couldn't play the demo, I don't have XBox Live.
