Bleach is sort of awesome, but gets rather repetitive after the first fifty episodes. Naruto has strong characters and great fight scenes, but has too many filler episodes and is a bit reminiscent of Harry Potter. Cowboy Bebop has the best music in any anime ever. Fullmetal Alchemist is my personal favorite, although others don't like it much for some reason.

Excel Saga is absolutely insane, in every sense of the word.

95% of everything sucks. Given the sheer amount of anime, you've got to figure that if 5% of it's good, that's a pretty impressive number of good titles.

Still, I don't really do top tens well. Mine would have things like Ouran High School Host Club, Haibane Renmei, Air, and Honey and Clover. FLCL would make it pretty high, but it's basically the only one I've seen mentioned in this thread that would make it into mine.

Okay, there are some good anime movies. I don't watch episodic stuff.

I like Howl's Moving Castle, Vampire Hunter D, and Read or Die.
