That cliff looks more like a really deep crevice. Use an actual cliff tile.

Regal, where did you get the rounded mack tiles? I'm sure this has been asked before, but I don't remember seeing rounded mack stuff, only rounded RTP.

Ah this is supposed to be for next week but I want to share ch7 screens.

It's another compilation/recolor chip. Also, that strange pink hue around those rocks is gone now and the cliff edges have been slightly improved so they look more continuous around the corners.

nifty! Although that stickman HUD takes away from it all. Clashes horribly with the rest of the style.

On the subject of things that clash...I never liked the main character's charset. Maybe it's just me though.

Also, do the footsteps work when you walk through the snow? If so that'd be really cool.

No it's not just you. The good news is that's actually not the sprite you'll see when you get to that point of the game. (A little cold?) By that I mean you do get a wardrobe swap beforehand.

Yes, the footsteps do work when you step on the snow. It's a bit fun to watch in action. It's object-oriented, too! :)

to be quite honest, that'd be good mapping for an experienced RMer. there are a couple of small errors, you've used a cliff bottom for the bottom of the fountain and the cliff to the right of it looks a bit goofy because it isn't designed to be that small (just do a rough edit or something), but that's really encouraging work.

D-Bones, the only complaint I have is that you've spelt thief wrong. Nice to see custom work.

Meh_Ch. That is very good. If that is your first complete map, then wow. It's a matter of preference but some wider clearer defined paths might help. Don't be afraid to go crazy with that dirt tile.
