Looks nice Tardis, I hope it's as fun as it looks. Incidentally, you might want to look at Breath of Fire 5's tracks if you're using ripped media for your soundtrack.
Thanks for the recommendation! Yes, I will be using a ripped soundtrack, for while I have the skills to do the music myself, I really don't have the time to score an entire game.
@Tardis: you pay incredible attention to detail. Graphics are already 5/5. Definitely interested in a demo. How long does it take to sculpt a typical map for that project?
@Drakonais: Why thank you. I pride myself on my mapping skills. A typical map (keeping in mind these are all test maps, nothing's permanent yet) takes me anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes for full completion. That's counting creation of overlays, atmosphere effects, and any chipset compiling I need to do.
Here's an example of one of the maps in the editor:

That's pretty impressive, tardis. I'm anxious to see an in-game version of something you've made. =]
Edit: Oh, I found some in your locker. Looking good!

Sorry. The forums are all bugged on my PC, for a weird reason. Really, sorry, the names were bugged =/
It's very obviously still tile movement.
Actually it doesn't look impressive. It has boring button mash gameplay with Gameboy graphics. You know what does that better? A freakin Gameboy.
It looks like it suffers from the exact problem Velsarbor (which he also made) did: the graphics make people not pay attention to how absolutely boring and trite the game design is.
