DREAMS

I get strange dreams all of the time, believe me, but there was an interesting one I had quite a few years ago, back when I was in junior high school, which I still remember to this day. In it, whenever I'd close my eyes and snap my fingers, I'd appear in a different bed in a different room. I didn't recognize any of the rooms in my dream, but I'd keep shutting my eyes and snapping away. I think I might have gone through ten to fifteen different bedrooms in that one dream, but in the last room that I recall, I was lying on a counter top in a kitchen area and it was during daytime. I noticed an African man I don't quite recognize on another counter edge across from me, who was cutting up bread or something, probably making a sandwich. While he was tending to his chore, him and I had a quick conversation, don't remember what about. After closing my eyes again, the dream ended and I woke up back in my own bed, in my own room, in reality of course. It's not the weirdest dream I had, but it was still pretty interesting.

This isn't dream related, but I woke up with my entire family in bloody peices that look like they were chopped by an axe. I'm sad because my DQ8 poster has blood all over it.

Don't know if you're being serious, but damn, it sure would suck to wake up to that... :`- l

Anyone ever die in their dream? I remember I was being chased by something in a dream and I had to kill myself with a chainsaw to escape. I woke up and I wasn't really scared. Although most of my dreams are really mixed up and random.

I have recurring dreams which are situated in my old house and sometimes I get some fantastic ideas for a RM game but I always forget to jot it down. Floating dreams are amazing,

If I were you I'd sleep in a different room and/or go see a therapist. Seriously, while that was probably a one-time thing, it's still possible that it might happen again.

Tonight I had a dream in which I played a game I made (would make IRL), and it was a final boss fight! There was a very clever idea in that fight, something I'd have never thought of, and I'll include it for sure if I ever get around to making that game.

Damn, that's awesome. The only relatively useful thing I dream about are fanfic plots... and I'm not even a writer. D:

Last night I dreamt of the end of the world though, with thunderstorm and flood action and new york under water, and for some weird pathetic reason, I can see a pirate ship atop of it and my mother was there and the tropical islands are having a great time without the flood because I'm in there and calling my mother through a cellphone and I can see their current state over there.

Yeah...there is something totally wrong in that dream...

One time I had a dream where I was in a helicopter with my religion teacher shooting a firehose at an army of statues on a riverbank.

I'm walking to a Home Depot-like store called "Atlas Shrugged." The sign is in the same style and font as the cover of the store's namesake; bulky, golden, capital letters. Inside, I enter a small room. An employee then comes up to me and asks if there's anything he can help me with. Another employee joins us before I can think of a response. He locks the door behind him. They take out rusty scissors and stab me. The opening credits to Drag Me to Hell, or at least my own version, begins.

(If it helps, I really hate Ayn Rand. And I saw Drag Me to Hell like the weekend it came out. This is the first somewhat related dream I've had to it.)
