If you all want to hack your portables so much just get a GP2X Wiz. You've probably never heard of it, seen one, or even want one but you should get one anyway.
Mine's already hacked. But again, 1gig. Only ports and 2D games fit usually.
I'm going to buy a 32gig memory stick soon.

I don't mind paying for downloading. I'm not sure why. I illegally download movies and music, but don't mind paying for downloading games.

I just got Dissidia. LOVING IT. The remixes are great and the battles are SO MUCH FUN. Too bad the story kinda blows, but it's not (too) gamebreaking.
Show me a fighter with a better plot.

You're probably right, but it's not really a fighting game...oh who am I kidding you're right.

Super Smash Bros. (A kid playing with his Nintendo themed dollsaction figures! This is totally believable - more so than any other fighter I've ever encountered). Not Brawl, though - they totally ruined it by making some lame alternate universe they all hung out in (lame).

I kinda thought that was pretty cool of them. To each their own I guess.

Also, while my PSP does make UMD drive noises, it only ever bugs my wife, and I don't notice. If it ever does bug me, just plugging in some headphones removes the annoyance, and I also get to listen to the sounds way better too.

Eh I'm not. I know its super powerful, but it just looks cheaply constructed. Like it can break easily. Maybe that is just in my head. Basically stated, it does not look solidly constructed.

Sony products tend to stop working/fall apart if you breathe on them. You are most likely right.

I disagree. I accidentally dropped my PSP day one. thankfully it landed screenside up, but it was totally fine. i don't even think I saw a sctratch... it was a hard linoleum floor.

Yeah I drop my PSP almost every day. It's fairly sturdy. But it definitely doesn't *feel* as sturdy as a Nintendo handheld - you get the impression you need to be careful with it.

I think you are confused with the current gen Microsoft consoles. 8)

My PSP has been amazingly resilient. It seems extremely fragile but it's studier than it looks.

Hmm I don't know but, here is a list of Sony products I have had that stopped working for no reason after minimal use; Stereo (1996), Walkman (1998), Discman (2000), Playstation 1 (2000), Laptop (2004), Playstation 2 (2005). My friend's PSP suddenly stopped working too, it was not even modded. Do I emit an anti-Sony field?? In any case I would not risk buying a PSP you know what they say fool me once shame on u fool me 7 times shame on me...

You'll be fine. Just don't screw with it and it won't screw with you.

To keep the PSP all nice and shiny, I take a paper towel and dip it into butter using my finger. Then I use it to rub the PSP in concentric circles starting from the centre of the screen. There tends to be some buildup around the analog stick, but this is intentional to maintain the lubrication of its inner workings. You have to watch out for the speaker holes though, you should use a tooth pick to keep the butter out of there.
Final fantasy Tactics,Prinny,Disgaea 2,Crisis core and also Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep when it comes out.
I agree that Sony products are more sensitive that Nintendo ones and require you taking care of them, but when you do, there's no problem. My original PSX works well and it's well over 10 years old.

My PSP's square button is a bit loose, but nothing anyone would notice unless they read the internet on potential PSP problems. The D-pad also squeaks a little bit when I go from left to right.
One of the PSP's biggest flaws is that that flimsy little loading tray can break if you drop it the right(read:wrong) way at a height of just your shins. That doesn't make it very portable.

I'm not sure if the PSP Go improved on the loading tray, or not.
But, anyway haha...

Valhalla Knights is a good game, if you like dungeon crawlers.

Of course, the remake of Final Fantasy Tactics is great...
If you don't mind a few locations and other things being spelled differently from the original.
Crisis Core was pretty awesome, too.
