I love Inquisitor's WorldMap tiles. They're awesome. This is just part of a huge worldmap I made. I'll make a fullscreen shot sometime.
Wow...This is a very good WM Prexus! I love how the water is up onto the land...I need to do that. Only thing I would change is the ammount of trees on the land. How did you put text above the cities? If it's a script could someone send it via P.M to me? I would like to have all of Inquisitor's WorldMap tiles as well if anyone has them.

The text is just a characterset.
Inquisitors world map is great. If I used RMXP I'd give it a try. The map you made looks good, Prexus.

your game looks fairly good so far but will the game play be good?

HUD is a bit too big in the first screenshot. Looks interesting, though. How well does the ABS work?
Yeah, I agree with WIP.
Something I've been working on recently. You can hire most NPCs, and they have different effects. They work for the whole party if they're battle skills. Some can make merchants refund 5% of what you spent, some can increase the amount of ABP you gain in battle, among other stuff.

Example NPC in action. He can be hired in game for free (A reward for finishing a quest for him), and casts Focus (Double mind to everyone). Of course, with a 3 Fighter and 1 Red Mage group, Focus isn't too useful, though you can always change your class.

the abs works pretty well, i got one combo in so far, that hits the enemy 3 times but its fairly easy to add more.

Ocean, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Finish that game! The FF1 Nes-style battle thing is so wonderfully nostalgic.

Don't worry! I've been working on it as much as I can. I've still got a lot left before I can release a demo, I have to make the other NPCs (The ones that you can hire), I have to set the steal switches for each battle, make the rest of the quest pictures, fix up the ABP and Gold gain/cost, Add a quest, and change around the dialogue. I'm hoping to get it done by the end of August. I probably won't have time for a custom soundtrack until after that, so I'll probably use FF1 music in the mean time.

Boredom after a haircut causes this. I redesigned the location indicator from the old square thing that looked like it was semi-lifted from LotPS.

Oh, and see if you can guess what I did to the charasets to make them stand out a little more. I've been doing it to every single one of my sprites, so I'm not even close to done. .____.;;
