DID ANYONE PICK UP "NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII?"
Posts
So, yeah, it just came out today. As much as I would like to be playing it right now, my current funds have disallowed me to pick up my reserved copy. To quench my thirst for the game (only for the time being of course), I've been watching a few gameplay videos of it on Youtube.
How about anyone else; have any of you folks bought and started playing through this platforming masterpiece? =D

I dunno, it doesn't look that interesting to me. I played the NEW! Super Mario Bros! and I loved it. I obsessively looked for every single frickin coin, and I was really impressed at how well some were hidden, or the complicated and difficult series of maneuvers required to get some of them.
However, This doesn't look that much more if you know what I mean? Multiplayer isn't a draw for me. Is there anything else? If it's just like a level pack, then I have other games that require my attention.

I think that, for the most part, it's the same as New Super Mario Bros. for DS. Besides multiplayer and few little perks and knick knacks...
While I haven't played it, I plan to so I've got another 'guys get together and drink' game. Four simultaneous player coop sounds amazing and the way its handled anybody can play without worrying too much about game overs (assuming that game over'd players will eventually respawn as long as there are other players still on the level)
Speaking as a guy who plays mostly jRPGs and for whom even NSMB DS was ... eh, this game is much better than NSMB DS.
never heard of it...

Well WIP, my good friend, a Nintendo Wii is a gaming console made by Nintendo; it uses motion controls and other nifty............. >___>
Seriously, the Wii isn't a bad gaming console...

I like to think that each console caters to a different clientele.
That being said, I still believe to this day that the greatest console ever invented by man is the Playstation 2. And that is coming from a guy who had an Atari, and absolutely adores his NES and SNES, and still has them hooked up on his tv.
