DID ANYONE PICK UP "NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII?"

I like to think that each console caters to a different clientele.
That being said, I still believe to this day that the greatest console ever invented by man is the Playstation 2. And that is coming from a guy who had an Atari, and absolutely adores his NES and SNES, and still has them hooked up on his tv.
PS2 all the way.
I'd get it if it's cheap and my Wii wasn't so covered with so much dust that it looked like it was wearing a tea cosy.
Just got this today. It's as addicting as 'N', if any of you have played that, and it feels a bit like the game too. The game is really really hard, so you'll be dying a lot, but there's no real game overs unless you run out of time so you can just keep on respawning until you beat the level in question. Also, it's incredibly addicting meaning that you don't really care that you die (at least I don't) cause it's just an opprotunity to play it again.
However, worth=/=$50. Wait a while, then get it.

I've been renting it from work and it's pretty awesome. Its for sure worth picking up if you play with friends.
Plus whether it's easy or hard, the game is a lot more fun with friends.
BTW at Gamestop if you bring in two approved games you can drop the price from 49.99 to 9.99. Just some food for thought.

I woke up this morning and my mom bought this for me so I'll probably play through it.
I want your mom.
I just cleared this game 100% (found all the secret exits, beat bowser, beat world 9, got all the star coins).
Am i seriously the only person who thought this wasn't that hard of a game? I mean, yeah, there were a few parts where I died quite a number of times...but I wouldn't say the game is difficult overall.
This game is great, no doubt, but I will agree with Relyt that it's not worth $50. Either do the Gamestop thing and bring in two games (to reduce the price to $10) or wait a while before buying it (although, I doubt they will lower the price...certain games, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, are still $50).

This game is completely uninteresting on single player. If you aren't at least doing two player coop you're playing the game wrong. Best with four people and finding a hundred ways to kill each other (intentionally or accidentally is besides the point)
I just finished the storyline with my cousin yesterday. Now to beat world 9......
This game is a bitch to play with 3 other people. Constantly blocking each other, knocking each other off on accident, accidentally jumping on the others' heads and hitting flying monsters....damn.
I love the infinite continues.

Ever other review I've read has said the exact opposite.
