2009 RMN CHRISTMAS LIST
Posts
I got some lovely new books (Yukio Mishima mostly, and my brother got me Kevin Smith's autobiography :D), some lovely new movies (Sleepaway Camp, Le Samourai, Westworld >:D), some lovely new pairs of socks, some lovely new shirts (this one is fucking green and checkboard patterned, shit), and a couple lovely new games (Flower, Sun, and Rain :D), and disregarding the drama that went on last night at my Grandma's house in regards to this passive-aggressive feud two of my cousins are having, some lovely quality time with my family. For a while my brothers didn't get along well at all, but now they're talking about Final Fantasy and stuff just like old times. Among other things I got them a bunch of cheap movies from the Soul Cinema collection. (Blacula, Foxy Brown, Coffy.) And the one that really likes Rick Moranis I got a Strange Brew poster. That got a few laughs. ^_^
I thought I posted this already, but maybe I didn't. I'll say it again.
I got the third Professor Layton game.
I got a nice oolorful touque.
I got some nice long johns.
From my parents I got a board game (blokus) and some money (which will go to a PS3 probably)

Since I'm posting after the fact:
Big things I got were New Mario Bros Wii and Zelda: Spirit Tracks. But I'm not really digging Bros for Wii much (although I had a blast playing with some people for an hour) and I haven't even started Spirit Tracks.
I've been getting the most mileage out of my new Snuggie blanket. Yes, yuk it up. But damn is it comfortable!

Double bass pedal and the extra crash that I wanted. Good stuff. Also sticks, stick bag, and an incredibly metal-looking drum key made of, you guessed it, metal.
Watching the new Star Trek movie in bluray with your family is pretty cool as well.

it's one of those 'as seen on tv' gimmick products. people buy them ironically, but then you'll see people say 'wow this is really neat' like they have never heard of a sweatshirt before
