In America, you're in school for 12 years. 4 years of elementary school, 4 years of middle school, and 4 years of high school.
That's pretty weird, I lived in 3 different states and every place had 6 years of elementary and 2 years of middle.

we had 'primary' and 'intermediate' schools instead of elementary where i went. something like 2 years of primary then 3 years of intermediate, 3 of middle, then 4 of high school.

HS owned. It was so easy that I didn't have to even show up to pass, let alone do any of the work, so I spent it rolling around outside, or else playing text-based video games on my horribly outdated pc with dialup. I wasn't particularly popular, but I was at least friendly with everyone, so I just kind of drifted from group to group and just fucked around for four years.
I was fat and had no confidence when I was that age, though, so I kind of missed a lot of rad opportunities!!
ps: in the US, 'college' is mostly used for liberal arts schools, while 'university' is for the big research ones

Best thing which happened in high school? Well, I'm a freshman, so...
1. I made legitimate friends for once. Until then I hung out with fellow dwebs. Now I go to the mall and the movie theater on Fridays.
2. I'm getting more confidence. I was able to talk to this cute girl out of nowhere. I think what surprised me most is how friendly she was to me. I barely knew her.

LennonIf you are talking about me, then thank you! I am not one of those individuals who hate youth, but I enjoy it when people mistake me age. I'm only 14.

1st year: Had fun pulling pranks on people we know with a friend at school, and we had fun stealing candy and other junk food from stores and running off when someone saw us twisting ketchup packs and slamming them on walls and windows.
2nd year: I met some guys who wanted to form a band with me. When they came over my house, they hardly had a fucking instrument! I then realized that they were all actually SPECIAL-ED students! HAHAHA! Oh, I also was a part of the Bass Choir, and performed a killer show. I loved it!
3rd year: Meh, nothing much over here. But I did start hanging out with some stoners that I liked.
4th year: Met some metalhead dude, and we kept fucking around by calling emos a bunch of fags. and I came back to the Bass Choir and did two Christmas shows (however, due to weather problems, we almost canceled the whole fucking shows!).
