as a general rule of thumb never take anything I say seriously.

Do you have a link to that old topic perchance?

I'm going to go dig it up... brb

Here it is! =D

I remember I pretty much killed the topic according to WIP.
Well they all look a little bit retarded XD

And imma let you finish but TurboMan is the best Megaman vehicle boss of all times! (for me he is!)

Agreed; Turbo Man is much cooler than Nitro Man.

I hardly believe that Sheep Man is some obscure reference, especially not do robots dream of electric sheep. It's probably just a wool = static electricity. You're all looking too deep!

I agree to this, as well.
Sheep Man was stolen from Pokemon.

PS: Is it an Electric Sheep Man, an Electric Man Sheep or a Sheep Electric Man?

Hmm... well I think it is, anyways.
Let's pretend it is, it makes up for how boring Chillman is and how stupid Nitroman looks

Chill Man looks boring, I agree.

And my initial reaction towards Nitro Man was the same, he's slightly grown on me, though.

yeah how did this fly over anyone's head? more people need to read philip k dick if they have any ounce of compassion for sci-fi btw

edit: oh I even half explained it a page ago
Sheep Man is probably, like, the anit-christ of Mega Man's world. His coming shall bring about the maverick virus.

EDIT: I'm still amazed at my Robot Master's thesis (as Kentona called it) B)

I think that every classic Mega Man game should be designed with some--not all--but some staple robot master concepts. These concepts include a fire-themed, ice/water-themed (or both), air/wind-themed, earth-themed, and electric-themed. It's quite obvious I'm drawing these themes from the elements, but I only think because the that's how classic Mega Man games started: Mega Man 1 had Ice Man, Fire Man, and Elec Man. Mega Man 2 had even more: Bubble Man, Heat Man, Air Man, and Wood Man (counting him as earth-theme). I liked the robot master line-up for both of these games and it made the games feel balanced. Mega Man 3--and onward until Mega Man 6--deviated from this formula, which is why I found the robot master line-up in those games unbalanced and uninteresting. I'm not saying that Mega Man's 3, 4, and 5 were bad games; in fact, Mega Man 5 is probably my favorite. I'm only stating that the line-up of bosses wasn't as "colorful" as Mega Man's 1, 2, and 6. Do you guys understand what I'm getting at here?

Mega Man 10 uses this formula: Solar Man (fire-themed), Pump Man (ostensibly water-themed, I'm guessing), Chill Man (Ice-themed), and Sheep Man (electric-themed). That's why I find the line-up of robot masters more interesting. Of course, like any Mega Man game, those four robot masters are backed-up by some nice, new concepts of the other four robot masters: Blade Man is a cutter-themed robot, similar to Cut Man, Metal Man, and Sword Man; Nitro Man is a driving/fuel-themed robot, similar to Turbo Man; Commando Man is a army/desert-themed robot, much like Napalm Man or Search Man (I find him similar to those two because is probably going to use missles or explosives like they do); and finally, Strike Man is a sports-themed robot, something completely new altogether.

Mega Man 7 and 8 do this as well, it's just not as noticeable as the other games. From MM7, Turbo Man is fire-theme and Burst Man is explosion and water-themed. From MM8, Sword Man is fire-themed, Tengu Man is wind-theme, and Clown Man is electric-themed. Sheep Man is the same way...he's a sheep, but is electric-themed.

So that's why I find Mega Man 10's line-up of robot masters very acceptable; it's very colorful and diverse.

I didn't know Sheep Man was from a computer themed level. That does lead me to believe either truth. It still works in argument for just Sheep=Wool=Electricity and Electronic Sheep Dream.
I'm on the fence.... AND TEHRES SHEEP JUMPIN OVER ME

o_o k I'm seriously so bored right now, sorry.

ahahaha :)
are these good designs in comparison to the other games? ive never played megaman so i dont really know, but they look a bit, yeah...kind of retarded. pump man looks so threatening, wouldnt want to get on the wrong side of that beast! he might water me
From the advice of Brickroad on IRC, I've uploaded a video onto my Youtube account in which I do some commentary on Mega Man 10's robot masters and their designs and stuff...

My favorite line...
"Strike Man gives new meaning to the term 'pitching machine'." XD
Oh My! MegaMan has his hands full with the new 8 terrorist.
