Actually, I wasn't talking about you. My edit comment was more directed at people who have trouble using the basic features of the site because they are unable to use their eyes to scan the entire page before posting a topic about something extremely simple. It happens to all of us once and awhile, but there are a few people who's entire contribution to this site's forum is "how do i see my mailbox".
As for what makes a game acceptable, go into the games for your engine (via the top o' the page menu) and sort by 3+ stars. Those are games that people find acceptable-good-great. You'll notice they almost all have interesting screenshots (either for their graphics or something that is going on in the shot) and have interesting, thought-out descriptions.
There are some games that have been accepted that look like garbage, but those are more a fluke than anything.
I'll tell you what: Upload the screenshots to your locker here at RMN and send me a PM with their links (I'm only going to open links hosted at RMN) and the description of the story you were going to post here, and I will go over it and tell you what you need to do. While I'm not staff or anything, I do have a fairly good idea of what is expected of an acceptable game. I'm not going to pull any punches, though, as the idea is to improve the game.

I find it amazing that the denial messages never got sent out properly. Now I feel silly for wasting all that time trying to word the "your game is awful" messages with a degree of eloquence and compassion...
