CloseBeat Megaman ZX earlier in the month, almost unintentionally. I had trouble with the boss rush so I figured I'd get some practice. Ended up with 
Level 4 Victories for all except Fistleo (because this fucker is a giant god damn faggot and it is frustrating to even get a level 2 victory because arrrrrgh fuck you developers!). Went to the final stage and bombed fighting Lurrell, Purell, and Protectos but I finished the boss rush for the first time! I had no lives, subtanks were empty, and I used my E-Tank on Lurrell so I thought I was fucked but I needed to see what the final boss could do anyways. Just for kicks I grinded the same two enemies over and over until I had one and a half tanks filled and moved on. Had trouble on the final boss' first form because I couldn't read his attacks at all, wasted the full subtank, and moved on. The final boss was just about as bad (but he had hard to dodge moves instead of hard to read moves) but I eventually won by the skin of my teeth! I used the rest of my other subtank and if I got hit again I would've died* but I delivered my finishing blow first!
* - I intentionally took a hit so I could kill the final boss sooner
(still need to beat Omega but he is a lot harder :( )
Also working on Megaman ZX 2. I can do the boss rush (but Vulturos and QueenBee always hurt far too much) but the 'Fuck You I'm a Instant Death Room' after the boss rush is the most aggravating part of the game because of how easy it is to suddenly die

"Finished" is pretty vague you know. Do you mean like 100%, or what?

Yeah, i just call "getting the good ending" finishing the game. I usually don't have the patience to unlock absolutely everything. I'm usually satisfied with the good ending. to that end, I can't believe I played Fear Effect 3 TIMES just so I could see that ending. Or was it 2? no I'm prety sure it was three. At least it's pretty easy to play through subsequent times fairly quickly.

Well I haven't S-ed all the missions yet :< so I guess I "beat" it more than "finished" it. If that doesn't count then I still have 11 months to make good on my earlier reply :x
In that case, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations for like the 4th time. Can't get enough of PW, really.

forgot to mention I beat contra rebirth with a bro on NIGHTMARE a couple of months ago. It's actually a really forgiving game.
don't know if rebeating a game i rebought counts, but I finished MP with like a 90 something percent on the trilogy also.

Just finished "Contact" for the DS last night. Not sure if I would continue playing after the end though. you can't even get most of the cool stuff or level any suit effectively until after the game, which seems silly to me. Oh well, it makes it easy enough to complete anyway. May one day start a new game.

Contact is a cool game. Fly Boy for the win!
I liked it as I was playing it, but I read a negative review about it and I couldn't disagree with his points.
So I figured, maybe if I made a new game and finished it faster, the game would seem more complete to me.
Nice Player Punch at the end though.
