I like the beach, Ocean, but the perspective is really hard for me to read. I think some stronger atmospheric haze or some other depth cues would go a long way. Or if you're not done adding to it just adding some foreshortened objects on the sand ;p

your color choice as usual is hot.

Yeah, I think I'll try this then. I'm not sure if I'll add anything on the sand itself so I'll just manipulate the depth a bit. Thanks! And your stuff is awesome, I don't think I got to say that before but I really liked the tiles you did.

Clest: Isometric! It looks good, you even have a darkening effect going on in that room. That reminds me, I really need to try some more isometric works.

after the rmn competition i was inspired and did loads of pointless characters. i don't think i've done much pixelling since, ive just been so busy!(well not really)

edit: oh yeah, and a hamster i did when i was 11, i'm surprised at how decent i made it. i remember making it an msn smiley because i was so cool.

i did an entire bunch of them! hahaha

booble, at first i thought the girl with the bubble gum looked like she was going to cry when her eyes were shifted off to the right. but yeah, they're actually pretty good.

the only thing that kind of bothers me a bit is that they look very detached, lacking in emotion.

@Clest, I really wish he was moving 1 pixel up(or down) in the 2 frames he takes a step like most typical RPG characters do, that way you don't notice that it's just his arms/legs/scarf/ponytail moving.

Darken; Yep, he should actualy do that uo down motion (and in fact it is that way in the walking template). Just that when I animated I didn´t remember that XD (was paying more attention to the scarf moving) but I will fix it tomorrow maybe, today I am dead tired from making an iso sports bar x.x

I'm drawing all the enemy graphics for Chromatose, and this guy is one of them! He's definitely the biggest fan of SOMETHING, but what could it be? SEEKRITS!

These two are pretty much how I started out. They were simple edits of pre-existing sprites.


These I made during my Graal Online years. Again, not 100% custom.


I forgot these two existed. They were sprited based on an existing template that were planned for a game I never got around to make.


My first attempt at making a template. Never finished.


VX sprites I made for a now dead spriting community.


Weird DBZ-ish guy I made with the commodore pallete. I failed at shading his hair. :P


This is pretty much where I am now. I'm constantly working at it.

yeah, i see exactly what you mean.
my plan was to make different emotions out of them with animations, which, i actually did a few haha and then i lost my will to live because it was taking so long, and i started questioning why i was even doing it.
