CloseActually, by definition, Pixel Art is high resolution art made with pixels (by high resolution I mean 100x100 lol, depends on the REAL resolution), and Sprite is the shrunk, for character or BG purposes, version of it. Generally sprites are tile based, and Pixel Art is not. Well, It's kinda hard to explain, but yes, it is pixel art.
Dude what are you talking about. I am just commenting on how the broom looks like it's being sketched out in ms paint rather than actual pixel placing.
Yuppie, yet I'm sort of traumatized by a random stupid pixel art community that almost killed me for using the circle and line tools, wich was pathetic, so I kind of get pissed when someone says something is not pixel art, especially something so interesting as that piece there... So... Yeah, I was sort of.... I don't remember the word, lol. (I'm not really good at english).

So I guess I'll show my two pixel screens here, lol.
It's supposed to be empty, you find yourself inside this bedroom after passing out while searching for your disappeared boyfriend in the beginning of the game. So I can't think of anything eelse to put in there. Even still, it feels empty..
I was dumb and almost started coding the CBS before the CMS. XD
That CBS is gonna be simple as hell, however, purrefect, If i pull out what I want. <3
So, any... feedback? What does "C+C" stand for?
Edit: BTW, whe evilBARBIE is just an edit of a Shin Megami Tensei game. It's temporary.

try making the desk deeper as a whole, and maybe try bloating out the middle a bit, like it's being seen through a fisheye lens?

I'd have to wonder if that is pixel art, seems more like an elaborate drawing in ms paint.

Uh, that's not pixel art actually. Pixel art = placing each and every pixel with intent. Everything you see on your screen is made of pixels but it's not all pixel art, is it?
There was a pixel art contest a few years ago where someone made a really nice work of pixel art, but was almost disqualified for using the "spray paint" tool in MS paint or something.
This was his submission:
Although he won, I think there are some elements of it not being completely a "pixel art."
Basically like Darken said... it's not actual pixel placing which = pixel art...

5 or so hours in MSPain (Not a typo).
Still a WIP. Something feels like it's missing but I can't put my finger on it.
The perspective of the animal seems a little off to me, I dunno. Looks like he's about to fly right past the guy rather than into him. I like the shading on it, looks very nice.

Kinda old. I popped it into RPG Maker 2k3 for layout purposes. I never intended for those tiles to be usable in that program, which is why some areas my look odd. I totally lifted the palette and design from pokemon.

If I showed you stuff like that, then you'd be correct. However, the shading is completely different.

The second one is abit of a cheat :P But I'm quite proud of little red riding hood.
<The reason why it's bloated was to see how worse the resolution will get zooming in,
however i accidently saved it over the default size(studity)..
and end up with having a slightly worse picture
