WHAT TO DO IF YOUR GAME SUBMISSION IS DENIED/PENDING
Posts
Perhaps... make a map? It'd be different if your game was just menu-based, but in the interest of having standards, we do judge by mapping ability in games that will have maps, which means that you need to provide at least one map-based image of what will be in the game to show that you are capable of basic mapping ability.

There is a map-based image, it's just filled with test npcs. But anyway, I'll re-submit it without the npcs
Fair enough.
Looking forward to seeing what the game is like with some actual content. Good luck on your game dev journey.

Very well...
It's hence here declared my game is not ready for this internet website!
Good day.
Fixed.
Omg I just sent a description of my new upcoming Sonic RPG game and forgot to put the download link...sigh* utter noob moment :/ can I link it here please?
Downloads are handled as part of the game profile itself instead of the description. It just becomes available once the game is approved. Don't worry about it and focus on pitching your game to the audience in your description.
Nice to see the site backup, but really disappointed with how it works, twice you have denied my game which the site is VERY SLOW OR NOT uploading the pictures I provided with 7 images I had uploaded with the game (even though it says it has). only 3 OLD images are there which I DELETED 3 times. I will upload a game once your site is bug free. thank you.
You need to resubmit after those images are up. Got to the first page part where the description can be changed and down the bottom press Submit. As long as the image section has images and the description is over 500 letters long it should work.
I can tell you now, though, that it's currently not up to site standards - you'll need to make some changes to both description and mapping.

Nothing was changing before it crashed and NOW for the 3rd time I've added all the image screenshots. 2 battle, 1 title, 1 level intro titlecard (hint) and 3 actual maps. I have done a 1200+ letter description of story, character bios ( 2 for now )... I can't add more stuff because I want it to be a surprise.
Ok well thats me done with your site for submitting a game, you constantly deny my submission even though I've seen others much worst than mine getting through successfully, whether be it description or pics. I'll just finish my game and then post if on another site.
I can't help you if you won't help yourself. You were getting there, though, but the punctuation errors in the game description needed fixing (I linked you to a thread where people would help with that) and the mapping needed a little more polishing up (also linked you to a thread for help with getting feedback for the intent of fixing) before I could add it to the site.
Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but any games that are worse than what you presented were added long before I took over the queue and very likely long before we even had standards on the site.

I see, ah well sorry for my rudeness then, I apologise, I actually didn't know there were new moderators on this site. I've been in and out for years checking up on stuff. The mapping in my games are fine considering its my first RPG game. I don't want to do advanced mapping as I want to learn and understand the process as I make more in the future. As of now, I am happy with the level designs. they are not big empty rooms with nothing inside and whatnot. I will finish my game first, then I shall hopefully be successful upon the final product. Again sorry if I came off rude.
I NEED to be patient I guess.

I've been on the queue for well over a year now, and the guy before me was just as rule-following. The standards are at a level when I'm comfortable with saying that your game needs a bit more oomph to be above the current cut-off levels, and that the links provided to you in the denial note would give you that help.
Fully understandable and yea, it would be best once I fully finish the game it can be much clearer for me to get opinions and advice before fully releasing it for any touch ups that needed. thanks again.
