Also, the word "marriage" isn't being misused. It's evolved, just like "gay," "fag," "cool," "sweet," "nigger," etc.
I wish someone would call me a nigger.
To clarify Yeaster's intent, since inflection of tone is difficult to portray on the internet, what he's saying is more like this; "I wish someone would call me a nigger", NOT to portray an actual wish, but more of an expression, or rather a warning of the inevitable assbeating that Yeaster would impart on said person should the above actually occur.
With that said I share Yeaster's sentiments.

I said it to be purposefully controversial, btw. I hope this is obvious to people (pretty sure it is to MOG and Yeaster), especially since FAG is also there.
To be perfectly honest, my parents and I always threw "nigger" around with great comfort. I was raised in a house that taught me words only have power if you give it to them.
So every time I tell my mother "nigger, pass the chips" it is seen as a great endearment.

That's true, but you also have to remember that words have power regardless of how much power you assign to them, given that everyone receives the word differently. A word(s) that you give very little power to can rock the listeners world, and vice versa. While I was taught with the same values, tardis, I was also taught that words have intrinsic value that's decided by more than one party (the speaker).
While the power of a word is variable, on the other hand, I wouldn't underestimate the power of the fundamental aspect of human communication; words! Words can and have built and destroyed nations. No surprise that people take them in various ways.
Keeping in mind that while I throw the term around a fair deal while I'm at home, I never mean anything by it. And when I'm hanging out with any of my black friends, while it's completely socially acceptable for them to use the term when speaking about me (in the form that is a term of endearment) I would never use it towards them, because I recognize that that's just not cool or funny.
Also dear world: please have more interracial babies. The more interracial babies we have and the more diluted everyone gets, the less we can be racist. Not for any reason other than it'll be too difficult- "fuck you, you um... wait, what are you again?"
