Actual answer: Maybe when the last of the cold-war era paranoia wears off? Dunno, I'm not a product of that era so I can't say.
EDIT: It's also worth noting that most asshats have both of those systems mixed with Fascism in their head.

I get the difference. I am in America. (And to boot I went to an extremely liberal college where everyone there thought that communism (not socialism, COMMUNISM) was AWESOME and a SUPER-GREAT-IDEA that would totally work in practice. uh.
