MOUNT KOLTZ.

I've seen several versions of the world map, I had ripped one myself for a planned FF1-3 remake(This was before Origins was announced). It's not a typical chipset, you have those corners and edges(which are awesome). And there's the "fourth layer" used in the town/interior maps.
Was the chipset for the underwater trench ever used without mode 7? I can't remember if it just used the cave tiles or not.

Yes, it's in Mode 7, except for most of the game where it's not.
*ahem*
Look here at about 0:40 in.
See how the map is skewed? MODE 7!
Couldn't have been easy to rip that. Unless there's some wonkey non-mode 7 thing that I've never seen before.

Did that guy just pronounce Sabin "Sab-in?!" NO! It's Say-ben! SAY-BEN!
Edgar got the crown and the normal sounding name. Macias? Sabin?
It's say-ben.
RPG-Advo: It's M*A*S*H
strike-out since only like two people here are old enough to know advo (oh, #rm2k, how I miss/do not at all miss thee)

Got the chipset; thanks, calunio. Feel free to let me know if you changed anything or any updates.
now watch me rock this bitch

Are you expecting any or anything? You mentioned before you were unsatisfied with some of the rocks, but I figured you'd know better than I did, yeah? After all it's hard to form a critique based off of "THIS NAMELESS ROCK DOESN'T FIT IN WITH THIS FORMLESS, MASSLESS OTHER PIECE OF ROCK"
If you want to fiddle around and make some changes, go ahead and do so.

Hopefully. Well, mostly. I actually tested it by making maps on top of panoramas made from actual FF6 screens. I think all grass tiles are there, but not all the rock tiles. I'm hoping you can do with without all of them. The problem is that I believe FF6 mapping allows for mirrowing tiles. As you noticed, in my tileset I mirrored most of the tiles, except for the rock ones, because they wouldn't fit.
Let's see if you can do fine as it is. If not, I'll add extra rock tiles.

It's actually pretty great, and thanks! The only pieces that are missing that I need are
Those are especially important, because as you can see, those pieces link the paths together. Without those pieces, it just looks weird, yeah?

can you post me that image without the black circles?
-nevermind!
but I'm guessing they're in the tileset already.

Yes, they're already there. Look harder.

Alright, uh, I can post something up later tonight, but before I do that, are the rock tiles in any uh, order?
I mean I can deal with the rock tiles being really weird on the eye and almost indistinguishable from one another when they're all spread out like that, but when they're not in any established order, well, my mountains kinda just look like oatmeal.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

For my next game I think i will take a photo of oatmeal and use it as my mountain tiles.
