CUSTOM RM2K3 FONTS?

My view on this off-topic debate is that I don't like installers for something I probably won't like and will be removing very shortly. A lot of people feel this way and, just like the ones who want/need an installer, you shouldn't just dismiss their opinions. This problem has a very simple compromise, 2 downloads.
Yes, believe it or not, other people will do things that you do not. How many people do you watch using a computer to see if they download stuff to the desktop? o.O I worked in tech support for a very long time and most people who don't know how to use a computer save EVERYTHING to the desktop(or My Documents).
Putting things other than shortcuts on the desktop doesn't automatically make it messy, especially if you have a few folders on the desktop to put stuff in or keep it clean. If you allow it to get overly messy that's your own fault. Not to mention that we are talking about RM games here...nobody is downloading and installing DreamWeaver to the desktop. These are small files that usually get erased after playing(because usually the game will suck) and the smart people will *gasp* move the folder later on. Just because something is saved and ran from the desktop doesn't mean it will remain there forever to clog up the desktop.
Also, when you are going to say..upload a file and you have to browse for a file, it is less clicks(i know you like to count clicks :D) to find a file on the desktop than if its on a drive in a folder in a folder in a folder in a folder.
Your whole post is very narrow minded and rude :) Oh, and don't worry about confusing certain people with 2 versions, those people are already confused and there is no hope for them.
Nothing beats having multiple options for the user, then everybody is happy. Obviously each side will not convince the other so why is this even dragging on? I was hoping in these 2 new pages of posts someone would be able to help me with my ACTUAL question which is ON-TOPIC but I guess not..

...Are there seriously people who would put an entire software folder on their *desktop*? I admit I hadn't really even considered that possibility, as it's unfathomably messy to me, and if I did that sort of thing I would quickly have a hell of a mess on my desktop. And I've never seen anyone who puts things other than shortcuts on their desktop. I always unzip RM games to E:/Program Files/Games/RPG Maker/<game name>/ because it makes a lot more sense to me to keep things, well, organized.

All this said, this argument did convince me to add a .zip version of my game, just for you stupid clownwagons who refuse to play a game otherwise. Though I'm kind of concerned that having two versions will confuse some users.
