I am working on a RPG, lol I had to delete all the maps(430 of them) and I am still working to replace them.(I have horrible game-making skills but, I had enough to decide the maps were bad.)

For Kingdom Frontiers: Zirac world mapping, it's completely customized with map panoramas, I created one in Photoshop. The other one is also part for the title screen of KF.
Testing testing testing. What's a better time to release than May 21 (the day of Rapture!) Bahaha.

I am currently staring at YEM's scripts and wondering how the shit I am going to do this.
My first official attempt at a game.

It's where you start out on a small island, and see this other guy wondering around near you who asks you if you happen to make it over the nearby mountains to the town, to come back and tell him how you managed, so he can give it a shot himself.
I'm gonna try and make the town over the mountains a little modern, while a little older looking.
I think I'm going to have a partially hidden side quest near the other mountains on the island that deal with the island's history a bit.

Currently editing the battle animations I'm using for the characters instead of battle sprites. Recoloring and adding in bits I want. It's tedious work, but it's coming along, and will look amazing when I'm done.
I'll be honest I'm really struggling when it comes to finding something to focus on.

I'm really not happy with Get the Shiny but none of my other projects can seem to get pass the vague planning stage.

Now I've always said that I was a game player rather than a game maker but it would be nice to have at least one project to work on.

Yeah I know I'm rumbling but you know what I don't care... mumble mumble...
I just thought of an idea, every new continent will have at least one portn, which will be the city you first arrive at, and you have to exchange your current currency for that nations official, and i is not always equal sometimes you end with more, sometimes less.

That sucks because it will never be fun for the player to lose money for no reason other than going to a different place in the world :(

It also adds the unnecessary confusion of having to remember all kinds of currencies and be unable to visit shops without a first stop for preparation. (Shit, why can't I buy anything here? Oh right. I have to exchange my f#*&ing cash argh!)

On the flipside, there ARE places where the currency gets stronger, I'm sure - but this is really just analogous to that place having lower shop prices.

Well i was going to set it up to where you can only get off at ports(like FF1) and as soon as you arrive you visit the currency exchange place. And it won't be any huge difference in money just a small percentage it probably wouldnt even be over a thousand unless you had like 50,000 +
that just seems like it would be annoying for the players and unnecessary. you could have it in one particular country and integrate it into the story; if it's a total ripoff to show how corrupt the country is or something, or just to show how the country is very private about its own affairs and so uses its own form of currency. but then at least have them meet a guy who'll give them a reasonable exchange price after so it doesn't put people off wanting to go there in the future.

you don't really want to include the boring things about real life just for the sake of authenticity.

Beyond removing some other projects I didn't like. Decided to progress on a new game I named Valiant Quest. With 16 Characters and all grouped into a 4 way party thoughout the years of the game, and then meeting another in the end to help save the world. Where they must work together to help stop Chroniunious, a demon king hell bent on destroying Gaiden(temporary, so a world meaning: Tale?, all sorts of stories to tell in that :p) and rebuilt it in a new world of destruction. Mu hahahahaha. I would say it would be a try hard workathon of being Hero's Realm. But not in FF Graphics. First lot of world maps is halfly in ff6 graphics i think.

Before that, every story has be told, and not all them are going end up being heroes in the end, because some might be evil and betray you, or others, will stand by your side, and only 4 will surpass it all. That is all. Properly remove SOLDIER. Defiantly delayed completely. Shelved! :( There's a unfinished demo, but forget about it.

It is very tedious, very slow work, but I'm making progress.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

First dungeon in Iniquity and Vindication is now completely playable.

Almost all my skill animations are still RTP shit, the character graphics aren't done, and the main character doesn't even have down-facing battle poses yet, but... if I wanted to release a playable demo, I could probably do so today.

I dunno. I should probably do some more skill animations first.
Copying and pasting large amount of coding, it's very nerve racking, the moment you realize down the road something is wrong, you have to go back to the amount of large doses of coding that you did and find what was wrong. X_X;

Writing the part of my graphics engine that has to draw autotiles.

It's a good thing I can read Japanese because the several page document I found is loaded with info.

What? I want this document! I can just translate it!

Excuse me? I have no idea what RMN4 is....
Is it some clue hunt I have to do now? O:<
Final touches to Chapter 1 of my TRPG.
Damn, I underestimated how long it takes to make one chapter. Or should I say, I underestimated my attention to detail.

On the plus side, the foundation is completely laid. It's all a matter of data entry in terms of game progression.
