But I like my happy green town :(
Don't stone people get to liven up their place with some plant life?

did someone say stoned people
Getting rid of all the skill icons. They look tacky and unprofessional, and it's inconsistent. Tedious work though.
Also working on a trailer. For my gam. Which is soon to become...
A GAME.

author=ChairmandrekIt's pretty self-evident.author=arcanCan you elaborate on that?
For starters use outlines and correct tiles.
EDIT:
Also, sleeping wind that is awesome.
Not sure about the background though... But when you say everything is a placeholder, does that mean the entire screenshot is a lie? even the robits?
author=RaekwonThe rips are really poor, and the house are too shallow. Try increasing the depth of the houses a tile or two.
I have some better rips for the FF6 chars somewhere.
EDIT:

here they are. This is just the charsets I had gathered for Runelords. There are some edits in there, and probably still a few bad rips, but there is also charsets to replace that dragon statue in there.
@Ness
Thanks. Nice work with the walking animation too!
@Kentona
Yes, Everything except the background is placeholder/lie!
Ok no, sorry. Everything is being worked on, including those sprites.

I may thow in some tilese for the buildings as they could be a tad taller. Everything else is supposed to be like a classic RPG. Hense, why I am using 2K3. It makes it easier to make games look like older Rpgs.
I may use it for some of the other games I am making. As it does have the same concept. However, for a game that involve danger this tileset is way TOO colorful.
However, the tileset used in the screen is only used for a short time so don't worry to much about it. But I will be using the tileset you showed me in diffrent games. Very useful.

I really like it kentona, it's simple, but great.

In that case, here:
you are the coolest but i was going to do the exact same thing with the SNES DQIII remake
I like it too. I think the VS is a bit plain when compared with the other two fonts, but it's aight. I'm actually digging the single use of black.
I made a sprite for my sidescroller game awhile ago. I'm trying to think up neat compositions for rooms and areas in the game. I haven't done much with the game though. As in, nothing's playable.

Working on my Gamemaking binge game. Most of the game's planned out, mapping's done, title's done, I've got several of the tracks I'm using for the music. Graphics are mainly set up. Eventing the game's intro now.
WORKING ON APPEARING TO BE NICER. Appearing. So I can lure small children into my gingerbread house.
Also:
Jpg-quality capture. Making angry and sad faces for characters. Now they can be emo as the scene demands.
They also switch to the pissed-off face in combat when they hit critical HP (and boy does she look pissed).
