Hey, those are pretty good :o You'll definitely need some color modifications though, unless you're going for the monotone look.

Finally implemented the second two thirds of Tim's defensive weapons in Backstage 2. Backstage 2 is supposed to be more terrifying than "empowering" but finishing enemies point-blank with a "stun" grenade is still pretty damn satisfying (fun fact about "stun" grenades, they can still be spectacularly fatal at extremely close range).
i'm triple tasking
1. nagging my dev team to finish the script for a KH fan game (help me nag? go on devaintart and nag at rosekey177)
2. tinkering with the idea of a strategy game with RPGMXV
3. making an adevnture game with Game maker 8.1

I've got quite a few commissions going on so I've been working on those. I want to get back to Adalyn but I want to clear my workload a bit first.
I roughed out a couple more cast members after work. For once, I'm trying to keep things manageable with a total of only twelve characters.

I'm using a default palette that only has eight different shades that are suitable for skin tones right now. Once I get everybody established, I'm thinking of making a new palette so I can get the shading to look a little smoother.

Looks pretty good! It might just be me, but I think in the face portrait, the left eye (from our perspective) should be shifted down slightly.

For some reason, it LOOKS like the eye is higher, but I just checked, and the eyes are completely even. Might move it down anyway though, just to see how it looks.

edit: nope, it just looks silly if I do that :/.

Huh, okay. I guess when you're working on a pixel scale, even the slightest change makes a huge difference.

This an idea I have for the world map, mostly because I am no spriter in any sense. Because of that, I am set the world map to only allow the player to travel along the trail.

The black arrows are there to let the player know what direction button to press as the arrows are set to be below and on Hero Touch and the space in-between is the same. Obviously, the big, ugly looking "X" blocks the players progress until unlocked.


Sidenote, the more I miss around with 2k3 RTP, the more I fall in love with it and that I was such a fool to deny it's own nice style.

New character for the DS:R remake. Name's Abel. He's a pretty cool guy with amnesia who doesn't afraid of anything. YAY AMNESIA

ok, i finished my Gamemaker adventure game, put the RMXV idea in the "later" bin, and am still nagging at my dev team. but now i'm making a game called "dot detective".
Finishing up the design documents for a game that's been in pre-production for months. Gonna send the character diagrams/references to my artist/friend so he can work his magic.

Yeah, I was half-asleep making that post. The reason I mention it having to do with spriting was due to me thinking about how I am unable to sprite a little charset for the world map, but it never fully came out because, well, I was half-asleep. =/

And yes, I was half-asleep at 10:40 pm. Was a long day that day. D:<
I'm working on my secret "Away" project Tine+Return. I'm still working out the kinks in the basic soul radiation system and the battle timers don't want to work either.

I made the first three sprite for a battle charset with charamaker99, for a game that has no chance of ever being posted, to see if i could do it, and well, I was proud of myself, but not blind, and you will most certainly never have to see them!

Game called God Hand. Yes, there is a similar title of a game of the same name. Finding title names are hard, or I'm lazy to go to that site with all the generators. :p

Also working on setting up skills for Desmond in Kingdom Frontiers.

Maybe I'll also HP down the Dark Knight, so he(?) won't be as long and tedious to fight. he was a little over 1000 HP. Maybe it was too much a challenge in the early stages of the game.
