I'm making some minor script edits to Melody's combo counter, and browsing colourlovers for some legible colors to use for the two lines instead of white. Then I'm gonna try to figure out how to change its font. But if Droid Serif looks horrible up there, then I'm leaving it alone.
Sometimes I wish I knew how to make patch scripts so that I don't get lost in all my little edits, haha. (I use comments, though!)
"Patch" scripts are easy!

If necessary, you can have a method that returns a boolean or variable be set/act as as a new variable (or an old global variable)

Editing Megami Tensei 2 rips... Seriously, how many monsters in this game has breasts or happen to be naked?! Removing the nipples and drawing clothing on certain ones...

facesforce - Why edit them? That was back in the days of single pixel nipples, as opposed to, I dunno, bump/normal mapped ones. I don't think it will really offend anyone.

That looks kinda intimidating to me, actually! I've never tried making a script, just edited other people's. But I'll try my best.

EDIT: I was worried that it would offend people, but the first two megaten have tons of sprites for the monsters that I can use in a 2d.5 environment.
Finished laying down the foundations of my giant map. Still needs a hell of a lot of work though.

Working on a few maps for my games introduction. Only have four more before Im finally finished. All nighter? Some feedback would be appreciated.
This will eventually be an escort club but I have yet to finish the sprites for the whores and neon lights. Making lighting effects for this map is gonna blow.

I'm developing an rpg game for the android, its called Ultimatum, but for now I'll keep it for the pc, I'll post a beta up soon.

VERY nice use of RTP!
After I got home from band practice, I spent a little time on spriting. The one in the Mandalorian armor is an old sprite, I've kind of been using him as the gold standard for my armored costumes, and to make sure that the newer stuff stays in a sort of consistent style.
I'm pleased with the aliens so far, though I do need to darken some of the shading on the Twi-lek.
Sprites: Farm planet garb, female Jedi garb, scout garb, alien soldier garb, commando garb, Mandalorian Armor, Rodian Strikes back, Selkath security officer, Republic Officer Male and Female, Noble/Engineer.
I'm planning on using the basic archetypes, so if you see some variation of the scout outfit on an enemy, you know something about his tactics. There will be lots of head pasting and palette swaps involved.

@Killer Wolf: I like it, I didnt read what game you were working on or what its about, but PM me with some info. Also good work on the sprites I would darken the overall hue of the Farm Planet garb it look like a really bad tan to me.

@Killer Wolf : love all those aliens and non aliens, the first does look a little stocky, but maybe that's the point?

Chana - I see what you mean about him. His torso is actually the same dimensions as the male Republic Officer's. I think he just looks a lot bulkier because the armor and costume designs of the other sprites draw the eye down the length of the character, whereas the farm clothes one is really only broken up into top & bottom by the belt, which does make him look a bit top heavy.
I've finished making changes to Catharsis' battle HUD: changed the fonts and colors of the chain/bonus bar, and brought back field effects. Now I'm transferring my notes about the field effects from Google Docs to the game's database. So far, they mostly modify critical rates and status resistances. (I love playing with status ailments, haha)
And I've decided to keep this project in VX instead of moving to Ace. Hell, revamping just the maps and the database has halted any real progress for over a year! x_x I'm pretty attached to the project folder's 2008 creation date. The overall concept is older than that, though--a couple of years before I found rpg maker.

you can but why would you do that when the tiles are at 32x32? you're going to give yourself a lot of pain unless you have a separate editor that supports either 16x16 or pixel movement *cough*Itotallydidn'tdothatbefore*cough*
