Another thing is that the 3DS Still uses DS looking graphic in 3D. I'd much rather have 360, or PS3 graphics on a portable then blocky 3D graphics on probably another square/rectangle shaped device. An Xbox portable is what we really need.
i could really care less what the games look like as long as they're actually, you know...
fun.
What the world REALLY needs is a handheld that plays EVERYTHING
literally everything evne the older games and the newer games and systems
won't it feel good to say you can play Super mario bros. and then a minute later say you're playing Epic Mickey?

Yes, this is exactly how I feel about games.
When i saw paper mario for the 3ds I was all SCHWING.
But I had to have a good laugh that a lot of the proposed titles are PS2 ports, like tales of the abyss and MGS3.
And the pics I saw of MGS3 looked pretty damn close to the ps2, so I wouldn't be so sure of the graphics level being too blocky.
Tales of the abyss struck me as odd, but one of it's sell points was interesting camera angles, so I guess I can see why it would be picked.
The thing that conscerns me is - how the heck are they fitting all this stuff on a cartridge?? I mean, those things ain't cheap, and the biggest rom sizes I've seen were 256 megs on the ds (which were only for the higher production value games), and when you're trying to pack all that data onto a card I can only assume something's going to go - and I bet you it'll be the voice acting. I'd be too angry to play Tales of the abyss if they got rid of the voice acting...

Christ, i'm sick of console war shit. They ALL suck, Get a PC
Not all major budget games will be on a PC, PS3 games for example will never be on a PC, nor a wii.
There's dedicated PC developers and there's also console developers.
You'll hear more on console development than anything else.

I remember the amount of space on carts being talked about on Destructoid's show at some point, just checked again now and the current cart size possible is 8GB. Link to the section with it.
The DSI itself came out not to long ago. The 3DS will probably not sell to fast to start. In fact, it may not sell well at all and Nintendo might lose money per handheld. (Sony is doing this now.)

where the hell do you get your logic? seriously?
Only and idiot would think a System would sell fast after another system (Whether an enhancement of an old one or not.) Just came out not to long ago.
