So false it is funny.
This tells me that you are OBVIOUSLY much younger than me.
Basically what Geodude said is the truth.

Or older. I'm a guy who never got an SNES but stayed with my NES for way beyond what was an appropriate time. (and thus I was unhappy when there were no more new NES games for me)

True, though the default to assume would probably be younger, in most cases. I'm pretty sure there are some people that got the SNES and had that for a long time before getting anything else.
Or, really, the default would be to assume there's just so many variables that it is impossible to know.
I like the topic of consoles wars. Or I can like the topic. Lame people are lame, but the topic itself isn't lame.
I think my favourite right now is the PS3. I use it for many many things. The main thing would be music for my living room. Then as a blu-ray player. Then of course there's games for it (which are not region locked). Viewing photos on it is really easy, smooth and fun. The Internet kind of sucks, but good enough to go to youtube if you really want to show your friends something. My wife probably uses it more than me for Torne, which makes it a TV recorder. We make full use of the 250gig hard drive.
I only use my Wii when I have friends over. When they're over, it's always a blast. Just had a little Wii Sports Resort Canoeing party the other day and it rocked. When there's no friends, I sometimes dabble into the gray area of home brew to play all those SNES games I've left at my parents house in Canada.

Saying the SNES is the greatest system ever is like saying that the 3DO outsold the Ps1. Complete bullshit. Also, I doubt you are older than me. Not that that matters. It didn't have that long a life span either.
Saying the SNES is the greatest system ever is like saying that the 3DO outsold the Ps1.
This is the worst analogy ever.
Also it's a fact that some of the most critically acclaimed games of all time came out on the SNES. How would it be strange that someone would consider it the system that represented the best in video gaming?
i like them both. i like both systems. i like to play them and don't feel ties to either company. they are fun and have the fun games on them. yes.

Yeah btw this is pretty much how I feel about any console I enjoy. Never saw enjoying one as exclusive to enjoying another.

Some of the most criticallyy acclaimed games came out on the Atari, The 3DO, The PS1, The Genesis, the Dream Cast, The PS2, The NES, The PC, The Commodore, The etc.
Also, the SNES was only popular, this is fact, is because most of the 3rd-party companies stayed with Nintendo after its illegal practices with the NES. Another reason why it was popular was because Nintendo was on it. Another reason it was popular is because this was before people started realizing massive annoying flaws in the games they were playing.
Also, First-party games. That's basically the whole reason the SNES sold base on sales figures by itself. A lot of good and better, or as some would say, more playable third-party games did not get the full attention they deserved. Also, Super Mario world, I can guranteed if that game didn't come in with the system, its sells would have fallen shrt.
Another counter to your claim is that if the SNES was the greatest system of all, would it not have made the N64 an instant hit? You have to remember that the U.S. is the king of playing video games (And has the most games made over all.) So if the Genesis and the SNES were close in sells in the U.S. then if it wasn't for a few things, the Genesis may have won.

But the main question is do you find yourself playing games on a specific system more than another?
you make zero sense, in your opinions and sentence structure. why are people still debating with this joker?
There were no opinions anywhere in that post. No fanboy wars please.

There isn't a current console war. There was a peace treaty like two years ago. There's like small skirmishes in the iPhone/Android/3DS/PSP area. But it's mostly just small territorial skirmishes that can't be counted as full-scale wars.
Yes, there still is a console war. Just because people are no longer shooting shooting eachother or PS3's, does not mean the war is over. The war got escalated again with the new Motion detecting devices.
