The DSI itself came out not to long ago. The 3DS will probably not sell to fast to start. In fact, it may not sell well at all and Nintendo might lose money per handheld. (Sony is doing this now.)

He is a little right although for the wrong reasons, People are having rage fits at the fact that if you play it for more then 15 or so minutes it hurts your eyes like a mother fucker, It has a shit battery (Three hours) oh and lets not forget nintedo told everyone "don't let kids play the 3DS or they will go blind"... Sure are alot of bright minds at nintendo, I'm not getting it, My DS lite and DSi work fine as it is.

1) Numerous researchers have stated that there is a low chance of eye damage in children. Nintendo has also admitted that they are doing it to cover their asses.
2) There were reports from Nintendo World about people getting dizzy after 30+ minutes of playing. Then they just turned the 3D off and kept playing.
3) Battery life is 3-5 hours, apparently.

4) Nintendo has never ever ever sold a device for a loss. They are definitely not going to change this with the 3DS.
5) There is pretty much no statistical data to show that the 3DS won't sell like cheap crack. It's their next-gen handheld platform which will receive a lot of marketing dollars and so forth. It'll be big. How big, is unknown.
