I like the one on the left. for one thing androgyny is probably a plus if you're going for an "everyman" figure and it also looks less uh visually boring / 90scomicbookesque than the faceless guy?? also more playful with theme than a literal faceless anime man.

It's not the same! ;_; Anyways, I barely ever played Fire Emblem, so I would have never seen that. Then again, nothing is truly original nowadays, who knows where they got the design for that character.

Side note: Really couldn't think of a 3rd design, so I started the modeling process while I was thinking. This is what I got so far:

Still gotta fix the face just in case I end up showing his face and his pecs looks kinda strange, but once I got a good design, I can get to the fun part (that is, the part after I give him clothes... :\ )

The one on left kinda looks like a girl. Mostly because of the eyelashes. The posture and facial expression gives off that look of disgust I've only seen in a woman's face ^.^;
Well, this game is gonna take place in the 1400s, and pretty much all the young men kinda looked like girls... that's what I think anyway...
