It's Haiku. One of the few surviving alternatives that is not based on BSD or Linux. The included applications are really high quality.

I use it mostly for web development because it has nice editors, and a rather up-to-date browser.

And holy cow, your trash can is huge.
Guess you could say I have lots to take out!

Also they have some relevance at times...

That's not too bad. I'm very fond of seeing my desktop, and all my customized stuff, so I typically just put one to eight icons for things I use on the fly, otherwise it's all pinned on start menu or task bar.
