Met up with some old friends this weekend and we saw Electric Six live at a tiny dive in town. They are like, the nerdiest disco dance rock band - the show was really fun and everyone got really into it :D

Yep, I was jamming to new Grimes myself. Reality is such a relieve after that disastrous terrible thing for Rihanna. And Claire's hot in this one.
And I don't really listen to Taylor, I just like 1989's cover picture and Bethany from Best Coast listens to her and I'm the biggest fan of Best Coast around.
Anyone is heading to London Calling in May (Amsterdam), btw?
Lately I'm listening to new Lower Dens (video is directed by SSION), Viet Cong, Best Coast and some queer bands.

Censurar mi baile del Can-Can.
Tu pinche ideal.
Asumir y no contradecir.
Tu pinche ideal.
Complacer y todo obedecer.
Tu pinche ideal.
El mundo perfecto no me va.
Dividir para sobresalir.
No va a pasar.
Aplastar para todo ganar.
No va a pasar.
Mantener tanta desigualdad.
No va a pasar.
El mundo fascista va pa atras.
Va pa atras.
Va pa atras!!

Lower Dens - I love how reminiscent it is of the good old times. It rocks very steady like.
Chastity Belt - Really slow. Nice and rocking, reverbed out. Interesting point at 1:30 when it goes all out. There's this kind of lazy feeling that I get when listening to this. I like how the drums are just simple and organic and some of them feel off beat but on purpose just like the lazy singing of the lady.
@wildwes
I never played Mother so I don't have the feelings for this haha
@alterego
Interesting. It's very musical somehow. I get the feeling that this artist is being somewhat ironic and poking fun at themselves with this? Not sure :) It sounds somewhat funky though.

I'm listening to...
This great song by Natalie Prass. I love how traditional and straight it is, but peculiar at the same time, kind of like when David Lynch did A Straight Story. It's like it's so ordinary that it's extraordinary. Especially at the 1:15 mark is absolutely brilliant. That's the crying moment. ;)
And of course this is absolutely emotionally annihilating. Sufjan's rawest record in my opinion. I love how tender and non-arty it is. It's just here, without gimmicks, a bittersweet love letter to his parentage.

Will I ever get this song out of my head? Jesus it's catchy. Too catchy. I've been humming it non-stop since I first heard it.
