It looks fine to me, but I had to paste the image in photoshop and brighten it, to be able to see it. Are you using too many overlay pictures or something by any chance? Try to lighten it a little, and if it's night then maybe you should use more blueish color tones.

I dig the pseudo-isometric look. It would be better it there was some kind of perspective to it, but I guess it's no big deal. Are you planning on smoothing the transition between the different ground tiles, though? That would certainly improve the overall style of screen.

Whoa a 3D game! That model looks nice, man. The HUD not so much though, not even as a mockup. It's kind of square and boring =P Try to make the compass look like, well, a compass, and maybe the map could be a Crystal ball or something, dunno... Spice it up!

Looking for some more feedback on my 2K3 mapping. First one is a church and the second is a Thieves' Guild kind of place in the hills.

You can tighten up those spaces a bit, but otherwise it is very fine for RTP. I would make an auto-tile set for the stone you use on the cave floor.

Well, only that one's from Land's Hope. The others are from mess abouts with the engine and Incarnation. ^.~
I'm not exactly sure how I'd go about adding glimmering lights, though I might try my hand at it. And by transparent, you mean how you can see the bottom of the water, right? Yeah, I had an idea of adding more depth in places, like just in front of the waterfall where the water eroded the ground away. I may look into it again. :P

Man, I really feel like I need to explain this better. That was not 3d. I had textures and models from the game Daggerfall that some guy uploaded to use for Doom mods. Basically, I just made up a wireframe room and used GIMP to put the textures on it.

Also, I started to realize the limitations that I would have after attempting to make a town with the textures. Maybe if I decide later to make a game located entirely in a dungeon I'll start that up again, but for what I'm making right now I'm trying something else.

And Creation, I know that you didn't make it, but the Sylvandor game looks so rad.
