The OP has such legible handwriting.
Anyway, my handwriting is deplorable. I feel a little anxiety every time I have to sign a document because I know someone is going to look at it and go, "WTF is this?"
Apparently I never learned how to properly hold a pencil. Ooh well!

Lol here's mine, just doing some skill listing for Blood Rose

I will be very displeased if I find the school I send my child does not teach cursive writing.
Why? What does cursive do for today's children? Is any reason to know cursive besides to sign a check, which will likely become obsolete in this electronic information age? Cursive is useless. If you dare try to argue anything about hand-eye coordination and precision, I will demand that you pay an art teacher instead - they're, you know, useful and relevant.
touch typing should be an acquired skill!

Cursive is slower to write and harder to read. What a cool skill to have.
It's not slower to write. Is it? Whenever I need to write something faster I switch to cursive.
Of course I can't read my handwriting no matter how I write stuff. I don't have an example right now but maybe I'll edit this post later with some of my horrible handwriting. (I once got extra points in a test in school because the teacher couldn't read my handwriting but thought it looked like it would have been right... Of course with another teacher the opposite happened)

cursive fails
My handwriting is, I think, fairly legible. It's all I use in my comics, since they're all hand-drawn.
I'd post one, but I have a thread for that already, and they don't fit very well on these forums. Horizontal scroll bars are irritating enough on obnoxious image macros...

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Man. I just realized I haven't actually written anything longer than an address label by hand in almost ten years. Last time I actually wrote a complete sentence by hand was in high school. Even including address labels and post-it notes, I bet I haven't picked up a pen fifteen times in the last five years.

Because it's an adult form of writing.

Um. Yeah. The main reason to teach cursive is because people write in cursive and kids shouldn't be unable to read. If they want to then write in cursive, that's fine, it's not a worse way of writing than print.
you're all missing the point.
your kid should learn to write in cursive because it looks fucking awesome if you're good at it.
