(this is being typed on the iPad, excuse any grammaticarlific mistakegas.)

I am going to implement a music selection choice into my game.
I would like music tracks that YOU want to listen to.
The player will get to choose what music to have playing in the level selection area, the bonus areas, the save area, and the shop.
The music should be clean, preferably no lyrics at all though.
It also needs to be legal, I don't want to be sued.

I will give any and all due credit to the creator and the provider of the music.
I also am not willing to pay. (sorry). Royalty free please.
Popcorn, you canuse this version: link
or any other free-to-use one (dont know of any others)

Thanks, this sounds great.
I would like more tracks though. Not necessarily from you Felix, but if you know of any more that you like, tell me.
I can't have music selection feature without multiple tracks. The whole point of this is to have something RMN WANTS.
what type of music will most suit the game, it's kinda hard to tell
Also you didn't mention that the music was for Pac Ralph but I assumed it was

Yes, it is.

The level selection area and the other areas in which this music will be playing are parts of a "motherboard".

Possibly something electronic, but not annoying.

8-bit remixes of music, even VX RTP music would be nice.
Just a thought...

Why not include a few of your own selections, but create the system so it lists all tracks found in a specific folder. That way any user can add their own tunes.

I've thought about that, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. The goal of my project is to use no scripts.
